OK, to try to make it less vague, somebody posted a link a while back to a webcomic that was drawn mostly stick-man style. It has a cult following, and one particular comic I’m thinking of had one guy thinking he was cool for making a pop culture reference that only 1% of the population would get and the other guy punishing him severely and savagely for it.
I can’t really think of how to search for it: stick man, snarky comment, dismemberment? Plus, the SDMB search engine gerbils are notoriously overtaxed. Could somebody point me to it pleeeez?

I remember it being linked too. It wasn’t XKCD, it was a comic making fun of XKCD.
There was one strip where he got lost in some sort of megacorporate building, wandered into a CEO’s office, and started answering phone calls. He eventually was talking to about 12 people at a time, and he told one of them, “No, don’t lay off the department! Fire some vice presidents!”
