Came across a really striking panoramic photo of the mass of Canucks fans watching game 7 on the big screen downtown.

This image is initially interesting just based on the sheer size of the crowd - but what makes it particularly remarkable is that when you explore it, any area you choose to zoom in on is saturated with discouraged faces, many of are configured into such exaggerated displays of discouragement that it’s hard not to find them comical.

It had to happen: I saw a T-shirt over the weekend that read, “I Survived the Vancouver Riot.”

Yup, that’s a whole lotta sad right there. Take out the blue and substitute red, and I’m pretty sure that’s what Calgary looked like a few years ago.
