That is not Taylor Swift, that is a magazine cover featuring an artists rendition of what an idealized version of Taylor Swift might possibly look like.
You mean like that TV Guide cover with Oprah’s head on Ann-Margaret’s body?
Joining the old fart’s club would be seeing the question and realizing you have zero mental image of Taylor Swift to compare the picture to. Hey at least I knew she was a singer and I’m sure I’ve heard some of her music…even if I can’t recall a single one of her songs.
That’s Taylor Swift?
Wait, there’s a Taylor Swift Japanese body pillow? Cite?
Now, on the other end of the spectrum, check the latest Cosmo cover -
that is Zooey Deschanel?
Btw, if there’s a Japanese body pillow of her, also …. cite? And Katy Perry.
To the whole subject, however they are made up, old or new Taylor or Zooey? They’re all awesome to me.
If you can’t find one I think you can get a custom one printed. It’s hard to even imagine how people slept before internet commerce.
Once you’ve seen The Rock lip syncing “Shake It Off” you’ll never forget it.
She always looks good, but in that photo she looks quixotically good, like a one in a million supermodel. How much photoshop was done on that cover photo? If it wasn’t photoshopped, she looks much better w/o the hair and all the makeup she normally wears.
If you’re looking at professionally shot photos in a magazine, they’re wearing makeup.
It looks to me like she’s wearing a lot of makeup on the Maxim cover. Which are the shots people are talking about where she’s not wearing much makeup?
It’s worth noting that Swift isn’t paid to look as objectively good as possible to a bunch of random guys on the Internet.
Swift sells an identity and fantasy to an audience of, primarily, young women. And young women generally aren’t fixated on looking hawt to old dudes they don’t know. So images that turn you on aren’t necessarily going to interest then. There is a reason why this image ran in Maxim and not Seventeen.
Swift’s “classic” look works so well for her because it’s something missing from pop music today- grown up, but in a classy, sophisticated way.
Indeed; this is why it’s so difficult to find pictures of unclothed young women on the internet.
You never see Zoey Deschanel and Katy Perry in the same room together at the same time. Just sayin’.
Ok, let me add “unless they are being paid for it”, in which case they also have other role mdoels more relevent than Taylor Swift.
I wonder if on some level she tries to downplay her hotness, I wouldn’t be surprised.
Agree, assuming the “classic” look you refer to is the one shown in the OP’s link, not “classic Taylor Swift”, the look most often associated with her.
As an old geezer I think she looks fine either way.
She seems to be naturally pale and is wearing a ton of bronzer in the new photos. The other thing that changes her is the eyebrows. She’s also lost weight recently (probably from hanging out with all those models). Here’s an older more “natural” picture for comparison.
You are correct sir!
Oh, wow…she does have a nose. (Seriously, contouring makeup has gotten out of hand.)
I like being special.
If you want to see how dramatic a little change in makeup can be, take a look at Uma Thurman with no mascara and a different color palette.
