Too late to join in?

Just started this week. My weight’s officially pissing me off. It’s getting in the way with normal life. My feet & knees hurt, I get winded climbing stairs, and it’s getting in the way of sex.

I’m over 350 lbs right now - that’s best I can say since the Doctor’s scale stops at 350. Probably close to 370 - a near all-time high for me. (I’m 6’3" by the way, with a lineback-gone-to-fat build).

Current goal is 320 - 50lbs down.

Right now I’m HUNGRY!!!

I’m trying Slim Fast shakes for two meals a day. Trying for a “normal” dinner. I probably should have a normal lunch & slim-fast for dinner but dinner is family time and I want to join in.

I did an atkins variant (actually the Curves diet from my wife’s club) about two years ago and dropped 60+ pounds before falling back on old habits & piling it back on. I like having something that says, “Eat this” rather than trying to figure it out on my own. Too much choice & too variety. I lock up & just go, “Screw it, I’ll just grab a hunk of cheese and this piece of ham”. Later, it’s “I’ll just add this and a spoon of that”. Before you know it, I’ve eaten too much.

Saying, “Have this Shake for lunch” is easier for me to handle.

Anyway- no real activiity increase yet. I need to get some started.
