Pussies. They’re all pussies.
I find myself not caring at all what happens this week because it’s going to be reset anyway. It would only be worth it if Frankie doesn’t get to play for HOH tomorrow (but I’m sure he will.) Though the trade-off for him being put up and going home would mean that Victoria stays and I really can’t stand her absolutely clueless and useless dumb ass any more.
Christine did many more evil things than just continually snuggle with a handsome young man even though she was married.
The worst, IMHO, was that she gave false hope to one of the nicest people on the show (Nicole) by promising her an undying alliance and then extended that to Hayden. She then stabbed Nicole in the back without seeming to think twice. I think this had more to do with the fact she was booed than her bizarre romance with Cody.
In subsequent scenes, she said that she was looking forward to being great friends with Nicole after the show was over. That showed a mental disconnect of amazing proportions. This lady must be nuts to think she and Nicole could ever be friends after the way she treated Nicole. I can’t spend nearly enough time explaining just how crazy that was.
She was the only person to leave the house without saying goodbye or even saying a word to the other HGs. I don’t think she was raised to think of herself as human.
Besides that, she never seemed to act like a human being. She acted more like a timber wolf that would hunt and eat the young of other wolves. She was an extremely evil lady with absolutely no semblance of a conscience.
I could go on much more about this evil witch. But just thinking about her makes me sick.
False alliances are the hallmark of BB strategy. I don’t think she was booed for game play.
I’m sorry but I disagree with you about that.
Nicole was a very sweet girl and her betrayal hurt her deeply. Do you remember how she cried? I’m certain the audience was touched by her crying and felt her pain. I’m pretty sure that is the major reason Christine got the reaction she did.
If I was in the audience, I would have booed louder than any of them.
Of course, it’s almost impossible for us to know. But I would like to ask if you saw every episode and whether it might be possible you missed some of Nicole’s reaction to Christine’s betrayal.
I’d be curious to know. Do you think the main reason the audience disliked her was because of her continually snuggling and cuddling with Cody - despite the fact she was married? It was a very strange relationship. She started snuggling with him a few weeks before she left and from the moment that started, she didn’t let him out of her sight hardly ever. She followed him around everywhere.
It was as if she had a new toy and was afraid that if she left him out of her sight, some other girl would have snatched him away from her. It was very strange.
Yes, IMO, the booing was due to her relationship with Cody. Yes, I have watched every episode. Of every season. There are always criers. BB isn’t a game to make friends. It’s all about backstabbing and being devious. Nicole, a self-professed “Super Fan,” was well aware of this too. I’m sure they lose a little perspective after being in the house that long, but having her feeling hurt is all part of the game.
That’s very interesting. I don’t think I’ve heard anyone else say that Nicole having her feelings hurt was part of the game. But I can’t disagree with you because it’s impossible to know the truth.
However, it’s very interesting that you bring up Nicole claiming to be a “super fan”. It’s very difficult - almost impossible - to defend Nicole. She has to have been the least knowledgeable self-professed super-fan ever and sad to say, she was really a terrible player. She was the only player who actually got evicted twice this season.
Even worse, she managed to get evicted the second time after winning HoH. I don’t think anyone had ever done that before.
But, perhaps all of that just contributed to her tears and hurt feelings.
I can tell you that, based on the hardcore feed-watching fans I see online, that’s absolutely the reason they hate her. Particularly since Christine’s husband has been pretty friendly with fans and comes across as one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. They all want him to be in the house next year.
Backstabbing Nicole? They don’t like her because of that, but that’s definitely not the main reason they hate her. That’s an accepted and acceptable part of the game. I personally don’t see it as any worse than how Derrick is currently playing Victoria. You make false alliances and cut them loose when they’re no longer of any use to you. The hard part is doing that without the person getting too angry about it to give you the win. That’s often referred to as “jury management.” Think of Dan Gheesling from a couple of years back - brilliant game play but poor jury management. They hated him enough that he couldn’t get the win. Russell from Survivor is the prime example of someone who knows how to get to the end, but can’t seal the deal because he’s pissed off everyone there.
This is another vote for people booing Christine because of the Cody-closeness ™.
Zach was absolutely horrible to people in the house, eating in front of have-nots just to rub it in and whatnot. When he was evicted, he was welcomed with cheers.
Her first (not her second) eviction was after she lost HoH. And her nominees were “supposed” to win the BotB because Caleb was throwing the competition. Caleb didn’t throw it as much as he just didn’t play it.
And the fact she was evicted twice is a credit to her, as she played her way back into the game. A returned HG really has little chance to reintegrate into the game. Zach, Jocasta and Hayden would have been gone in a couple weeks too against this crew.
================
The editors did a number on Victoria last night, and justly. She has to be the worthless player to get this far in BB history. At least since I was watching. The Brigade brought Brittany along this far…but Brittany was far from clueless. Production must be feeding Victoria lines in the Talking Heads because there is no way she could come with her BS by herself.
Frankie is getting a real bad edit the last few weeks. Last night’s soliloquy on how good he is in competitions was cringeworthy. He is going to get a huge wake up call to find out how unpopular he is. And Donny wins the fan favorite.
And Julie Chen has tweeted
That the button rewinds to before the HOH competition. Frankie plays the new HOH , and Derrick does not play as he is technically the outgoing HoH. I hope they reveal the Rewind Twist after they vote and announce who was evicted.
Interface2x and Calatin both make a strong case and I must admit to being swayed.
But one contradiction would appear to be that many fans expect Frank to booed far worse than Christine was and his primary offense is being such a mean, nasty, evil snake who seems to take great delight at the hurt and misery of other people - especially if he causes it.
I’m guessing if you people are correct - and I’m guessing that you likely are correct - he will not get booed at all.
Of course, the producers may prevent booing by taking certain measures. They may stack the audience or warning them that any booing will be treated very harshly.
The single most striking feature of this season, IMO, is the great hatred that most of the audience seems to feel towards this one guy. I would dearly love to see his delusions shattered. But the longer things progress as they are, the less likely that appears will be happening.
There’s a good chance he will be booed, but for a different reason that is one of the cardinal sins of Big Brother: Don’t act like you know you’re the fan favorite and don’t act like you’re bigger than life. He’s always come across as really self-satisfied and egotistical. That’ll turn people against you in a heartbeat. They just think he’s a vile human being and it really has nothing to do with his game moves (outside of taking out Zach, for whom they have an almost irrational love).
Personally, I think that the venom and hatred I have seen for both Christine and Frankie is way overblown. I’m less likely to agree with the hardcore feed watcher fans and more likely to recommend that they step away from their screens for a few minutes every couple of days.
Agreed that Britney wasn’t clueless, but even beyond that she was a competitor as well, with four wins: One HoH and three PoV, including a PoV while she was on the block.
She wasn’t even clueless about the alliance in that she knew that Lane, Hayden and Enzo were tight. She just thought/hoped that she was in closer with Lane and Hayden than Enzo was.
This. I can see where Frankie can be annoying and somewhat delusional, but I really don’t understand the magnitude of hate that he’s attracted. My roommate who has maybe seen 3 episodes this season (to my knowledge) walked into the living room last night, and when Frankie was on-screen, the roommate said “Ugh! I hate him!” This is coming from someone who hasn’t watched live feeds and pretty much gets all his updates and info whenever he’s in the room while I’m watching it.
I admittedly haven’t followed the live feeds much this season, so when experienced viewers are chiming in by calling him nasty and whatnot, I have to take them at their words, but the all-around vitriol towards him is something I just don’t understand.
I do think Interfacex2 has a point with the “I’m America’s Darling” delusion that Frankie’s living under. That does grow old, fast.
It’s even worse when contrasted with Derrick, who is aware and appreciative of being on Team America but isn’t buying into the whole Sally Field “You love me, you really love me!” trip that Frankie’s on.
Frankie was also very dismissive of Donnie who apparently America love Donnie. And that is where a lot of vitriol towards Frankie is occurring.
Personally, I didn’t like Donnie or his game play, as he played up the victim card too much. He did have more integrity than any of the remaining HGs, but I don’t watch BB for HG w/ integrity.
Yep. Wholeheartedly.
I liked Frankie quite a bit before his “reveal”. He was personable, kind, funny, and just a hoot to be around. He had some great stories, and was fun. I had him as my top-two picks to win, as he was doing exceptionally well at being liked by people.
After his reveal, every third word out of his mouth was about how popular he was, or about his sister. I understand wanting to talk about your family, and I’d do it to, but its the constant name-dropping, place-dropping, or over-aggrandizing himself that has turned me off. He’s started playing the character of “Frankie”, rather than being the nice guy that he truly is.
Then again, maybe the pre-reveal “Frankie” was just acting, and this is his real self. I’d be sad if that were true.
Here is Ariana’s brother’s blog:

It’s an interesting read - mostly because it’s followed by comments from the public and there is a good split - many people who hate him and many who love him.
It’s worth reading.
I guess it is a good thing that the Houseguests reset the button in time for BB to setup the same game.
I wonder what BB would have done had they not hit the button until 1 hour before the live show? No way production can set up the backyard for the same HoH competition.
BTW…
Spoiler on who won HoH
Caleb
And the nominations
Frankie and Victoria
Spoiler on the Veto Competition
The Veto competition was basically the same game of morphed faces
