You know, in reading Phelpster’s statement that “The Rod of God hath smitten fag America” [sub]That’s an interesting piece of imagery for a homophobe like Phelps to use, don’t you think?[/sub] I’m reminded of what one of the survivors of the Johnstown Flood said when someone asked him if he believed the preachers who were saying the flood was God’s way of punishing America for being so sinful. “If that’s God’s way of punishing us, he sure had poor aim.” the survivor said and pointed to the brothels on the hillside, all of which were left unscathed by the flood.

That turd-smoking cock-cheese is planning on picketing one of the funerals for the pilots. David Charlebois died when his plane struck the Pentagon. He was apparantly openly gay, and Phelps thinks it would be a good idea to add to the mourner’s pain.

The little shithead got away with picketing Matt Shepherd’s funeral because the attendees and mourners were, in all likelihood, non-violent types already. Given the massive outcry against Falwell’s comparatively benign (though still repugnant) comments, I suspect it’ll take more than a ‘judo-trained’ grandson to save Phelps if he shows up at this one.
