This just happened a minute ago-I was idly browsing a thread, clicked on it-and got this message, with me logged out. I hit backspace, clicked on another thread, and I was back in like nothing had ever happened. Why would the board ban me for an instant like that?

Sometimes your IP number changes from session to session.

Your current IP number will be displayed on the page.
Send that information to me in email and we’ll track it down. We usually IP block for spammers. We don’t want the spammers but we do want you.
It also gives that message a lot if you’re using a VPN service.
