While I don’t like Mirna anymore than anyone else, I do have to say that I often find myself falling back into a familiar second language, when I don’t know the one in the location I’m at. For instance in Germany, I had to force myself not to say words in Italian, or Spanish…not because I thought they’d work, but more because in your mind you know that the people won’t understand English, so you automatically pick the next language you know. Doesn’t mean it’s not still funny when she did it…grin.
I also don’t like the new FF rules. Seems to pretty much make it pointless as a tactical manuever.
If I had been Chip, I wouldn have helped Brandon, but not the twins. I’d have let their skinny asses wander in the desert for 40 days.
I don’t see how the bowling moms will recover from this one. Although I’d be asking my fellow racers for $5 or $10 during the rest break.
If we’re lucky, maybe they’ll actually get to beat the twins (with like whips and chains and stuff) during an eating contest … that would totally ROCK!
Indeed. I think the soundtrack started playing generic Italian music whenever Charla/Mirna were on screen, from that point on. (I think the producers/editors like to have a little fun at the contestants’ expense…like the shot of the Egyptian priest shaking his head while Colin/Christie were bickering.)
I’ll have to go back and check, but I swear the Twins got to the end of the block-dragging event, and spun around wildly frantically wondering where the Sphinx was.
Over there. It’s the big lion statue with the spotlight on it. Can’t miss it.
Sorry I’m late…just back from a week’s vacation. Thank you Tivo!
