The Apprentice, 11/25

I’m assuming you mean Sandy.

:smack:

Yeah, Sandy.

Looks like next week is selling again. I’m betting the T&A team wins it and the two dimbos survive again. I see Ivana getting the axe.

What really got to me this week was that the blabbermouth didn’t get fired; the quiet (or “shaddup and listen”) person did.

If Ivana really strips to her thong, I dearly hope she gets fired. Even if her team wins.

Ivana should be fired just for the “I got a porshe at sixteen” remark. Anyone that spoiled is impossible to root for or respect.

None of the candidates left are that appealing. Ivana is mediocre and annoying. Jenn steals people’s ideas. Sandy is a bit of an airhead. Kelley’s not bad but he’s not all that good either.

Kevin is the only person I really like but he hasn’t been overly impressive at anything yet.

I’ve heard that the show had a million applicants. Were these people really the best of bunch? I find that truly hard to believe.

Is it the show or are these people really that awful in real life?

I beg to differ – she should be fired just for “I totalled the Porsche I got at 16.”

That is definitely a possibility, but he could also read it as Apex not wanting her to outshine them. Remember, Kelly was jettisoned by Raj a few weeks back for that very reason!

I did, and I said to my dad, “Hoo boy, they LOST!” It was actually pretty funny.

Anyone catch Kevin’s pronunciation of “Countach”? Koon-tasch. The Italian in me cringed so hard that it cramped up.

How is it pronounced? One of my kids had a model of one and we never knew how to say it.

The “cou” is pronounced as it is in the word “could” and the last syllable is taaaaaaaaash.

Ha! I thought the same thing. I had trouble recognizing her from scene to scene. In the between-boardrooms, she looked very hooker-like, which I approved.

As an avid Sandy-phile, I was disappointed in her performance tonight. She had superior creativity skills to Jen (except for the round bottle…thing), but she was a loud-mouthed banshee, and the only thing that saved her is Trump wanting to fire Andy since day one. Sandy, shape up! Think of the fans!

I have now jumped on the Kelly-is-gay bandwagon. I enjoyed his dry-mouthed look when Ivana made her “not…straight” comment about the Oscar bottle. He’s now my favorite player. I haven’t seen him do anything annoying since the fashion design escapades.

As a final thought, I loved that they showed the machine tool for making the Apex bottle. That’s my industry. Represent!

I thought for sure that Sandy was gone. A previous lesson was “Never lose your cool”.

Apparently, Donald was impressed with Sandy’s brass ones. Also, Andy did not play up his strength: his boyishly handsome face. His team would have won if he had flaunted his sexuality more.

If you were Italian (which the Lamborghini is), you’d say “Cawn-tahck.” The “ch” in Italian is a a hard “c” sound, not a “sch” sound. For that, you’d need a “sci.” However, Kevin’s pronunciation is by far more common than the correct one, but it still makes my skin crawl.

They’re not the best, just the best looking and maybe the ones with the most intriguing backgrounds among the best looking. I was telling a friend the other day, how come only attractive people have been on the apprentice? The women this season all looked gorgeous and the guys look like male models. Some of the brightest business people I’ve known were really homely. My manager is going to apply for next season and since she happens to be a stunning knockout, I’m pretty sure she’ll be chosen.

Andy deserved to be fired if nothing else for the incredibly tacky and condescending act of giving $100.00 bonuses to the design team, especially how he kept saying things like "You’re going home $100.00 richer! (Yay! :smack: ) Sandy has no chance in hell of winning because if Trump couldn’t look past the infinitely more capable Troy’s lack of a college education, he certainly won’t do it for someone who choked on a presentation so badly that she didn’t even seem to speak English.

Ivana is a useless dolt who had miraculously excelled at one task, so she’s gone, and Jen’s looks won’t be enough to get the teflon queen the job, so it probably will be Kevin vs Kelly and if Kevin breaks into a mad sweat like he did during the Levi’s presentation, Kelly will coast to an easy win.

I’d like to see Jennifer make the final two. It would settle the question once and for all if she is good or has been coasting.

The last task will likely be complex. No coasting there.

It would be great to see her soar, but it would be interesting to see if she crashed and burned.

I think the final two will be Kelly and Jennifer. I can see Jennifer doing very well in the interview phase.

Has Jennifer ever been the project manager? If so, what were the results?

She was PM of the dog washing task. She won. That was the week that Little Stacy got fired.

I think the Dog challenge assignment was a non-factor in determining whether one is an effective PM. It was kind of a lame challenge.

Disclaimer: I have not read this thread at all!

I’m just replying to say, Dammit, we were away at a relative’s house for Thanksgiving, and I couldn’t watch this week’s episode!

You may think I’m being silly here, but unless I catch a soccer game, The Apprentice is the only show I watch on all of television (well, my husband is trying to get me to watch Pimp My Ride, but I don’t know…). Why I turn on the TV for this and nothing else is a great mystery to me, but I confess that I’m hooked.

So…does anyone know if by any chance this show will be repeated?! I’ll try to read any replies here (while attempting to avoid spoilers), but dropping me an email would also be greatly appreciated.

I can’t believe that I had to watch “Samantha: An American Girl Holiday” instead!

I tried to email you, Lily, but your email address is hidden.
