The Apprentice -- 12/1 and 12/2

Off with a pistol-snap!

Has Donald adopted that recently?

ROFL! Ok everyone say it with me:

DAAAAMMMMNNN!!!

“I’m not going to hire a stripper.”

Best boardroom ever.

MrValley and I were theorizing that he’s been practising that one in the mirror for awhile.

“I’m not hiring a stripper.” Cause they’re for marrying!

I’m smarter than he is!

Nooooo… bikini girl… come baaack! :frowning:

Because we’re down to Final 4. Interview time, two firings next week. If there were two people immune, there’d be no point to the whole episode.

I don’t remember how they did the final four last time. Do they do the interviews next week or is that the final two?

I never had much of an opinion on Donald Trump before the show but I’ve gotta tell ya, I’m not much of a fan. I love his speech at the beginning. I build great buildings, everything I am involved with is the best of the best. Now go sell some chocolate for me that is clearly a ripoff of the smarties bar.

The interiews are next week – all four go through that particular hazing as the hurdle to jump to get to the final two. Then the final two lead some big project (with fired returnees) to end things with a bang.

Throughout this whole series, I’ve found Ivana cringeworthy. From saying she was terrified by Stacie J, to being way too overly excited in front of professional “clients” when winning a task, to her lack-of-self-awareness during close-up comments…this episode was just the capper. MrValley hates to watch people humiliate themselves, and he actually left the room during her stripper schtick. Actually, the only bit of respect I gained for her was hearing Kevin’s positive comments. They made me wonder if she’s been edited as incompetent and desperate.

What was the whole Lucille Ball exchange?
Kevin: I feel like Lucille Ball.
Kelly: Only whiter.
Kevin: <something something>

You got it backwards

Kelly: “Only darker”

There was a classic “I love Lucy” skit where she and Ethel are working making assembly line chocolates and hilarity ensues. It’s fairly well known.

Best. Episode. Ever.

I loved the look on Trump’s face when he heard Sandy and Jenn won. I loved that they wore matching clothes to the boardroom.

I loved the editting for Ivana. “Kevin, I really respect you.” “Kevin has to go!”

I think Carolyn’s "She defended herself"comment shows just how much she hates Jenn. And Carolyn’s hair is pretty. I like it longer like that.

Why were Kevin and Kelly such losers selling the candy bars? Did they want to fail?

Also, if Jendy was so inept making candy bars, how come the Ford assembly line Kelviana came up with only produced about 40 more bars?

Were Ivana, Kelly, and Kevin so tuckered out from making candy bars that they couldn’t come up with at least one marketing idea? Remember when the men’s team sold ice cream and they all wore bow ties?

Interesting that Ivana admitted to failing when she was PM but said she was a strong team player.

Sandy was spot on about Jenn’s plastic-ness. She seems really self-conscious, and that makes her sorta wooden and distant.

Oh lordy me, what an awful, awful typo I made. :smack: :smack: Yes, that’s what I meant, but I had a brain-to-finger dysfunction of some sort.

Still, Kevin said something after that like “Yeah, and <something something>”.

Yeah, I know what it was referring to; I thought it was cute. I also thought it was cute when Kevin talked about the Oompa Loompas. But I’m just a sucker for that boy.

And bigger.

I think it was “and the beard is permanent,” which I guess refers to some of Lucy’s other antics.

It looked like they just sat back and relaxed after Ivana dropped trou’. I don’t blame them. Even if they lost, that Ivana’s stunt had all but given Kevin immunity from being fired tonight.

You know what I don’t get, is what planet she’s living on that she could possibly think that what she did was a good idea. Esp. when she saw the walking-away reaction of the guy, to keep chasing after him – it was seriously skeevy.

Was anybody else reminded of last night’s South Park episode while watching this show? It semed like Ivana couldn’t stand to get out-whored by Jenn and Sandy and just had to up the ante. I’m just glad she didn’t have a pineapple.

Sandy has grown on me. She contributes to every task and stands up well for herself. I think she’s been getting underestimated all along. I have a feeling she may do really well in the interviews.

Am I the only one sorely disappointed at not seeing Ivana advance to the Horsemen of Trump interview stage? Because I would have loved seeing her get raked over the coals by them ('member what they did to Amy??)
