The best free web-page site?

I am going to start my own web-page. I have done this once before (for trading records), but I found that web-site to be a little rough. It had to have an advertising banner on it amongst other little annoyances. Are there any free ones that let you display your web-site only?

I suggest http://fff.fathom.org .

They do append their own tiny links on the bottom of HTM files, but it’s nowhere as intrusive as other DIY websites.

They only allow 2 Meg in file space, so if you have pics (like in my daughter’s page at the bottom of my post) the space gets eaten up quickly.
