Richard Kiel played the villainous Jaws in two James Bond movies, and never spoke a word until his last scene in “Moonraker:” he and his girlfriend pop open a bottle of champagne, on board a space station that’s about to explode, and he says, “Well… here’s to us.”
In Fandango the character Lester is memorable because he is passed out for the entire movie and they drag along his limp body throughout the movie. He wakes up at the end and says something like “Its been fun, see ya.”
Also in Fandango the character Dorman is basically mute. I think his only line was “Dearly beloved…”
Damn I loved that movie. I have to see it again.
Not sure if it was his only line, but it was awesome. The gatekeeper in The Princess Bride:
“I have no gate key.”
Hah hah! I came in here to post this very line! I use it all the time!
Ugh. I hate thread chasing. Can’t you at least say the name of the movie or something? That way if it’s a movie I’ve seen and enjoyed I won’t mind watching a clip of it. ~sigh~
Plastics(The Graduate)
No, he says one more, after that line:
Inigo: Fezzik, rip his arms off.
Gatekeeper: Oh, you mean THIS gate key.
Actually the character (Yellin) has a scene earlier in the movie with Prince Humperdink where Humperdink tasks him with creating the Brute Squad.
