The guys plan to play Dungeons and Dragons without the girls, who show up dressed sexily for a girls’ night out and Raj goes with them to the nightclub.
Baybrook Mall is NOT in Galveston- it’s in Friendswood. Growing up in that area, Baybrook Mall was how I knew that we were almost home from Galveston.
That’s all I got, except a lot of appreciation for the fan service dresses the girls were wearing.
I was just getting home at the beginning of the show – wasn’t Raj playing D&D with the guys? How did he end up with the girls?
Raj made a noob mistake, and got his character killed shortly after the game started.
And unless D&D rules have changed considerably, the writers screwed up at the end. Sheldon casts a paralysis spell on party members, and it automatically works? No saving throw? Uber-nerds would know better than that.
Dammit, the one night I’m late getting back from the grocery store! Gotta finish my Christmas baking tomorrow.
And, now that I think about it, Raj should also have been allowed a saving throw. Leonard’s dungeon is harsh, like E. Gary Gygax modules.
IIRC Leonard did roll some dice when Raj went in, so that could have been a saving throw. (usually rolled by the character) But you are right about the paralysis spell.

Amy showing some serious ankle in that dress from “Forever 63”- great stuff. Good dream for Sheldon at the end. After a shaky start, the series seems to have found its legs the past few episodes. Speaking of legs- Penny, we love the legs, but change the hairdo.
Let’s hope that we’ve had the mandatory dose of Raj that we can put him on the back burner for a few episodes and get back to Penny.
Rolling saving throws would take time, and distract from the story line, and be incomprehensible to anyone who hadn’t played (thus taking even more time to explain.)
That’s no excuse. Still should have happened.
What the hell did Penny do to her hair? It looked terrible.
A shaky start to the series?! They’re in their sixth season now and a lot of people say their first seasons were the better ones.
My theory is that she’s taken Amy’s advice on alternate uses for electric toothbrushes, and accidentally shocked herself.
She seems to wear that hairdo a lot when she gets dressed up. I seem to remember she wore it when she was trying to outdo the new hot upstairs neighbor that the guys were all fawning over.
OK, I admit that I laughed over the double entendres that Raj kept saying. But I’m not sure that I buy that five-year-old Sheldon thought that Santa could bring back his deceased “Paw Paw.” I think he was the kind of kid who didn’t believe any fiction from a very young age.
I meant to say this season. I thought the first few episodes of the season were a little weak as if the summer layoff hurt the actors’ timing or else the writers were in a slump.
What, you’re saying she raised her shields?
I for one am tired of the “Raj is so closeted he doesn’t even realize he’s gay” thing. If he’s gay, fine, make him gay. If he’s not, knock it off. It’s juvenile.
For some reason, I didn’t notice the hair. I was looking at – her other things…
They were on display, weren’t they? They Wonderbra’d the snot out of that dress.
Sometimes I wonder how Bernadette walks upright. She’s got quite a rack on a tiny frame…
