The Big Bang Theory, Season 10, Episode 15 (February 9, 2017) -- "The Locomotion Reverberation"

I am starting this thread in anticipation of tonight’s episode.

“That’s not even a math symbol, that’s Charlie Brown’s hair.”

The girls are just so unhappy. It makes me sad.

Me too.

The other story was just another “crap on Sheldon until you need him, then beg him to come back” arc. Been there, done that, not amused.

Who thinks Stuart drank the breastmilk?

I think he put it on his cereal.

Love the Amy daydream sequence. Raj-Stuart battles are really wearing thin. Love Sheldon’s enthusiastic reading of the train stuff to the long-suffering Amy.

The Amy day dream sequence was hilarious and the highlight of the episode.

The main arc with the guys was dull.

The girls arc was pretty funny.

I agree with the first two. I want to see more of Burly Sheldon.

I may have mentioned this before but Mayim Bialik is the best actor on the show by far.

Would that military guy have so easily understood Sheldon’s equations?

Of course.

He has an advanced degree from MIT, so I’m guessing “Yes.”

Except it wasn’t a complete idea, and I don’t think Leonard, who is intimately familiar with the overall arc of the project, understood it.

My fan-wank would be that the General understood enough of it to know that it was a totally new path, and had a “ooh, shiny” moment and wants the new toy.

Yes, Mayim Bialik is the best actor on the show. I like that she was wearing an actual moderately attractive dress when she went out.

Sheldon with the train engine in the apartment was funny. It looks like he and Amy are “de-Pennifying” the apartment so it doesn’t look so much like an explosion in a paint factory. If they’d just get a bigger bed!

Yeah, the train daydream sequence was hysterical. This was a better episode than we’ve been getting lately.

Why does Penny have such a small bed in the first place?

They mentioned Amy having a water bed once. Some hilarity could ensue if Sheldon tries to sleep on a water bed.

My guess is that after she wore out the other three, it was the biggest she could afford on her waitress salary. :stuck_out_tongue:

But there is no excuse for Shamy not buying a bigger bed.

And we got to see Amy’s red strap! What would her mother say?

Wait a minute, are you trying to poke a hole in the story based on THAT lack of reality? I thought we were suppose to suspend reality in order to remaining entertaining? If not, I can get all Sheldon on you with pretty much every aspect of the “developing a MIL product” story line.

I had a problem with the locomotive engine in the apartment. I don’t think it’s possible for two guys to lift, let alone carry up the stairs. Not to mention it’s quite possible the stairs and/or the apartment floor would not be able to carry the load.

I don’t think it was a locomotive engine. Too small. Semi engine, more likely.
