Yeah, she ain’t married, she shouldn’t be fucking, according to her own philosophy and her advice to Penny.
Yeah, but she admitted she was a wild one when younger: When I was your age you could have me for a car ride and a bottle of strawberry wine. Old habits die hard. Or hardly die.
I’m not familiar with how the whole thing works. Perhaps the Air Force is contacting the man in charge of the project? Maybe they’re trying to bypass the university?
Maybe before initiating the process for Eminent Domain for Intellectual Property or whatever you want to call it, they like to talk with someone directly involved in the project to see if it works in a useful manner?
Yeah, I remember that. She’s returning to her old ways!
Why are these episodes getting shorter and shorter? This one was only 19 minutes
Leonard’s mom admitting she was hurt they did not invite her to the wedding seemed very out of character, so I was expecting them to build on that. Perhaps some kind of emotional breakdown from Leonard’s mom ala Sarek when he got Vulcan Alzheimers, which analogy Sheldon would immediately make.
A lot of wasted talent in this episode.
I can imagine that they might want to hire the brains behind a good idea.
That would have been an excellent penultimate episode but was a weak finale. Felt unfinished.
Yeah, for a finale that really blew. If it was the first part of a two-parter it would have been fine. They could have set up all sorts of things to play out next season and they got lazy. What a waste of Judd Hirsh.
IIRC, I read somewhere he quit smoking about a year or two ago.
Sometimes first babies don’t show for four or even five months. I was still wearing regular clothes in my second trimester, albeit a size bigger. It just depends. And a “bump” also has a lot to do with whether you are wearing the kind of clothes that show it off. She could have gained a lot of weight, but be wearing clothes that conceal it. Some women aren’t anxious to broadcast the fact that they are pregnant, and Bernie strikes me as one of them.
I find it odd that she would be so cold to Penny. At one point, several years ago, they were getting along like a house on fire. Now she just seems very condescending toward her, far more than the elopement would justify.
For that matter, I was surprised that Penny would be so reluctant to see Beverly again. She was acting as though the prospect was repellent when Leonard asked her to pick her up at the airport.
Good point. Last time the two of them ended up doing tequila shots until Beverly tried to pick up the busboy.
Why didn’t you tell me you’re tapping my home girl? Did I say that right?
Maybe they’re setting us up for the next season opener; a cliffhanger, if you will.
In the sense of pon farr, maybe. I don’t believe people ever change that much, though. If you’re hot to trot when you’re 22, odds are you’ll still be when you’re pushing 60.
Beverly’s more tolerable when she’s drunk?
Or 70.
Or maybe to set up Judd Hirsch as a new recurring cast member. Which, of course, would be totally cool.
They once mentioned that Sheldon’s father was really fat. Anyone else want to see a flashback where John Goodman plays him?
Or maybe he recovered his self-respect and regained control over his eating habits once free of Lilith, er, Beverly.
