The biggest rummage sale in town is doing this - AGAIN (Not quite Pit worthy)

For the past 20 years at least, our local symphony has had a ginormous rummage sale every summer, and this is their weekend for it again. It starts on Wednesday evening, with a $10 admission, hors d’oeuvres, wine, string quartets, etc. and is open about 8 hours a day until Saturday.

In the past, it was held in a closed grocery store or similarly sized large storefront, but for the past two years, it’s been held in the old library, which is a 3-story building that has no utilities except for generator-powered lights, is not handicapped accessible, and has about 10 parking spaces.

My guess is that the building was free, but I can’t imagine that the loss in sales, and “shrinkage” too because there are a lot of nooks and crannies in this building, would compensate.

Have you talked to them about it?

The biggest funeral for the crummiest person I can think of was for Nixon, but I didn’t attend.

I think you just posted in the wrong thread. :o

Damn that’s the second time in 2 days. Apparently I have a fixation on the bastard.
