I like this one from King of the Hill.
No, they’d flee into the mountains and hide out. Or to a right-wing foreign country, like Texas.
I don’t think most of these guys could survive in the mountains. Some of them thought camping in a parking lot was an ordeal.
I particularly enjoyed David Fry’s complaint about the lack of marijuana.
Yeah, you’d think the kind of people who willingly work at a bird sanctuary would keep a massive stash handy!
I’m kind of surprised how wide the reach is for people that are ultimately being charged. I hope it doesn’t spread too far. I’d hate to see some well intentioned joker have to defend his bag-of-dicks parcel as not actually being “support”.
“That was NOT food! They were just supposed to suck on 'em!”
Hope no one sent edible panties.
Gag order…?
Glad the occupation’s over, but let’s not lose sight of the important questions. What became of the 55 Gallon Drum of lube the Cards Against Humanity guys sent over?
Was it seized as evidence? Will it stay at the sanctuary for the use of the staff and guests? Will it be considered a personal effect of the occupiers and sent to one of their homes? Will it be sold to offset the cost of repairs?
Asking for a friend…
Yeah, but that one was the FBI mole.
I’m hoping the much put upon town or Burns, OR gets to sell it all off at a garage sale come springtime. They could use the cash to buy a good fireworks show, or textbooks for the kiddies.
The mole was released without charges. Shawna Cox is out on bail. I have no idea why she was granted bail while others weren’t.
At the initial bail hearing, the magistrate denied bail because of the ongoing occupation. Now it’s over others may reapply.
I personally don’t see why they should be granted bail. Anyone who shows that much of a disregard for the laws.
They used it all.
I can’t believe you can even buy that in 55-gallon drums. Who needs 55 gallons of lube?! No, best not to think about that, really . . .
I assume that it’s not normally purchased retail. It sounds like something a business would buy and repackage in tubes or bottles for retail sale.
There was an FBI mole, or is this a joke?
Peter Jackson, in making one of the Lord of the Rings movies, used so much KY that he was buying out entire stores full. He actually had to get permission from the manufacturer to make his own lube – they told him the formula and licensed him to produce it – for the goo and slime in some of his scenes. He used way more than just 55 gallons.
