They may be “fun” just now, but they are also a bit problematic: the GOO platform committee has narrowly approved a plank that calls for the return of federal lands to the states.
Are the states going to reimburse us for all of the tax dollars spent to maintain those lands, or are they a bunch of welfare queens - taking what the rest of us paid for?
Greedy Old Oligarchs?
It was actually a typo. I saw it as I was finishing writing the post and said fuckit, they will know what I mean. The party that we need to wipe off all the time.
It is a pity that lots of sovereign citizen’s don’t realize where the movement originated.

But we will see if the GOP wants to address their major political constituents are responsible for. I won’t be holding my breath.
Ryan was hatching a plan to escape, according to the prosecutors.
And previously he wanted his gun for target practice, I guess.
Tough being a rancher.
That’s the problem with acting as your own lawyer. He thought that the best he could hope for is a hung jury, so he started making the rope.
Rotflmao!
The funny thing is, he’s on the first floor of the jail.
Maybe he’s knitting it for a family member?
Braiding a rope from sheets to get out of a jail cell sounds like something out of a Western. Come to think of it, believing one should be free to roam one’s cattle all over the range, and refusing to be fenced in, and thinking a shootout is the way to resolve matters, and believing the local sheriff is the source of all legal authority all sound like stuff out of a Western. Could be a pattern here, ya think?
Sounds like something out of a cartoon, more than a Western, to me.
Especially the first floor thing, that’s hilarious!
So does this mean they’ll be considered flight risks and be kept in jail until trial?
Generally if they find a make shift rope in a prisoners cell it’s not because they’re trying to escape. I’m surprised Bundy wasn’t put on 24 hour suicide watch (or maybe he was and it’s not being reported).
Not to take away from the (very good) joke, but his 12-15 foot rope would have left him only about 215 feet short of the ground. Maybe he’s playing the long game in the Shawshank vein. Or maybe he’s just really stupid.
True enough in many cases. But this rope was a good bit longer than needed for hanging, and he also had stashed extra clothes and food in his cell.
That was just a joke. I didn’t know what floor he was being held on.
But it sounds like Bundy didn’t know either.
FTA;
Ryan Bundy declared himself sovereign from state and federal government and wanted to be paid $1 million to accept “the role” of defendant or inmate.
Ryan Bundy said he does not accept the role as defendant or inmate without fair and just compensation of $1 million. He also said he is willing to play the “role” of “judge” or “bailiff” for $1 million.
He also demanded $100 million if he has to face a judge for the conspiracy matter related to the takeover and occupation of the federal facility.
Apparently if you don’t capitalize or know how to use a semi-colon magic happens.
How much can I ask for playing the role of Guy In Line at the DMV? Where’s my agent?
How does this role playing nonsense fit into the freeman/sovereign/patriot/whatever-the-fuck philosophy?
