Bundy’s entire agenda is based on “government is bad.” Like you say, he’s not hateful, he’s not motivated by the idea of owning the libs. He just wants to destroy any form of government control, with no analysis of what benefits it might be providing.
Unfortunately, the end result is much the same: the more vulnerable population gets fucked over. I don’t envy you the choice. (Maybe we can work a trade - you can join Greater Oregon when all the idiot dipshits here secede to Greater Idaho.)
True, but I feel that with bundy, there is a small modicum of humanity there that you can appeal too, possibly with some sort of success. Half a slice of bread is better than the big fat nothing I forsee with the crazy in the lt gov office

I suspect you all know that Ammon (an anagram of that is “no mam”; it’s also mamon, which is a false object of worship with one less “m”) Bundy is running for Idaho’s governor spot. He’s also supposed to be doing public service in payment for his crimes. So his lawyer sent in his campaigning hours and labeled them as “community service”. The state is not really all that amused.

Sure, count campaigning time toward his community service hours – if he manages to get elected. If not, increase his required community service hours by the number of hours he’s spent campaigining.
