Miyoshi Umeki, who had a good stage and movie career but was best known as Mrs. Livingston on "The Courtship of Eddie’s Father, died on August 28th at the age of 78.
I don’t play, but I noticed that there’s been no mention of Jennifer Dunn, senator from Washington state, who died a couple days ago from a pulmonary embolism.
I guess no one had her on their list.
Madeleine L’Engle is dead. This is a sad day. Maybe I’ll start another thread about it elsewhere.
Former member of the House of Representatives, actually, and Sternvogel mentioned her passing.
Not likely that anyone had him, but financial commentator Seth Tobias was found dead on the 4th, at the age of 44.

Sheik Abdul Sattar Abu Risha, who headed the coalition of Iraqi Sunni tribes known as the Anbar Salvation Council, was assassinated today when a bomb struck his convoy. At least two of the sheik’s bodyguards were also killed in the attack, for which al Qaeda is being blamed.
Rally driver Colin McRae (some of you may know him from his video games) has been killed in a helicopter crash.
