Reading this thread might save your life.
We need to grow this thread. It represents a sea-change in the way we think about threads.
It takes a village to raise a thread.
If I can’t get feedback, then how about some input?
This thread is just going through a stage. It’ll grow out of it.
If you love a thread, set it free.
If it comes back, it was meant to be.
Dearest Thread,
I’ve learned a lot of meaningful, important things about myself from you. But that doesn’t change the fact that you’ve hurt me, Thread. I let you because I love you, but I need some space from you right now. It’s not you, it’s me. I have a lot of painful thread issues to work through before I’m ready to commit. I’ve been burned by threads before…if it is meant to be, we’ll be stronger than we were before. If not, then it wasn’t our destiny. But we’ve grown together so much, and we’ll always have that to be thankful for.
I Love You,
Sarah
Utilize it as a growth opportunity and chalk it up as a Life Experience at this point in time.
But remember - you’ve gotta dust yourself off and climb right back up on that thread.
If this thread isn’t part of the solution, it’s part of the problem.
This is the common thread that holds it all together.
Ultimately we make our own thread.
I think threads in general were the winner today.
This thread could change your life.
Ask not what this thread can do for you, ask what you can do for the thread.
I have a thread.
Go placidly amid the flames and trolls, and remember what peace there may be in lurking.
As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all posters.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and ignorant; they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive posters; they are vexations to the spirit.
If you compare your post count with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your smilies as well as your sig.
Keep interested in your own thread, however humble, it’s a real possession in the changing fortunes of vB Code.
Exercise caution in your posting, for the world is full of ignorance. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and In My Humble Opinion, everywhere life is full of Teeming Millions.
Be your UserName. Especially do not be a jerk. Neither be cynical about sockpuppets; for in the face of all logic and reason, they are as perennial as the flirt threads.
Take kindly the counsel of the mods and admins, gracefully surrendering the Godiva and single-malt Scotch.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in Great Debates. But do not forget to consider Comments on Cecil’s Columns and Staff Reports. Many book reports are born of Café Society.
Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with the OP.
You are a thread of the universe no less than the Mundane Pointless Stuff I Must Share; you have a cite to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with Cecil, whatever you conceive him to be.
And whatever your General Questions, and in the noisy confusion of the BBQ Pit, keep peace in your soul.
With all its flames, trolls, and hijacks, it is still a beautiful world At This Message Board.
Be cheerful.
Strive to be happy.
This thread has changed America forever. Nothing will ever again be the same after this thread.
Threads don’t kill people, people posting to threads kill people.
A thread in Cafe Society is worth two in the Pit.
All I wanted to do out there today was contribute to the thread. I just typed hard, stayed within myself, and did my best for the thread.
I think this thread was a real team effort.
I still want to be friends with this thread.
There’s no “I” in “thread.”
This thread is less filling than regular threads, and it tastes great, too!
Come on down to this thread! There’s plenty of parking and free balloons for the kids! This weekend only!
At the end of the day, it’s the thread that matters.
You get out of this thread what you put into it.
Because of this thread, America has lost its innocence.
Threads Happen.
Looks like you need a new set of threads.
