The Congresswoman with the crazy eyes, part II, crazy in the head

Absolutely! They were born terror babies, raised here to raise hell.

Even better. Our plaid flannel shirts are great camouflage when invading Thunder Bay. We dress native.

So long as it doesn’t involve marching, or showering with a bunch of guys or following orders, I guess I’m ready. But I’m bringing my own beer, and if I run out, I’m going home.

Not to worry.

From the marching orders: “The good people of Lake Wobegon will have a rehabbed ice cream truck dispensing their town’s two favorite beverages: coffee from the Chatterbox Cafe; and Wendy’s Beer, brewed in nearby St. Wendel”.

Coal to Newcastle, my friend. Really crappy, watery coal.

There is a nice mansion in Pakistan that needs a new owner. Patch up the bullet holes and it will be as good as new.

She’s still going to keep getting re-elected in her district. You know that, don’t you?

And the problem with comparing something to the Holocaust is, apparently, that some people might take it in a bad way.

You type well for a blind man.

this is up there with the Israeli minister who said that 'unilateral actions are not a one-way street."

Sadly, Yes.

No. That’s why we are happy to have her run for President instead. She won’t be in Congress.

Her campaign financing in the last election is skewed way above the average House member, but her own previous campaigns as well. I’m betting it’s all those conservative, God fearing churchgoers.

You know, the ones in the belfry. Or the Minnesota caves. Yeah, that’s the ticket.

Don’t look at me, I voted for Clark. (You would not believe the unseemly conservative underbelly in this district. The billboards during election times are godawful.

I doubt she’ll give up her seat to run for Prez (well, unless she wins I guess, but I doubt thats particularly likely).

I live in California (though my ancestors came to the USA from Canada). I’m simply interested in preserving our relationship with one of the few countries that doesn’t want to attack us.

Though I do like beaver.

I know. I see them often. They march lock in step with anti-abortion billboards and anti-meth billboards. Not that meth use has gone down very much there.

Mind you, I live in the conservative 2nd district myself. They just don’t wear it on their sleeves quite so much.

Looks like she’s throwing her hat in the ring, to be officially announced in June, in Waterloo, Iowa.

Blog here.

I don’t believe she will have to give up her seat in the House unless she actually gets nominated (for P or VP). And maybe not even then, she can keep her name on the ballot in her district even if she doesn’t have much time to campaign there. Then if she wins both (pardon me, I just threw up in my mouth a little) she could resign her House seat.

This should be fun. Even better if it keeps Palin out of the race. Palin is at least a little canny in some respects. Bachman is a trainwreck waiting to happen.
Roddy

Well, bring on the trainwreck, then.

Or… would it be better to wait?

I know! Let her foul up the primaries, make her Republican opponents spew equally crazy stuff (and show the American people what they truly believe), and then run as a third-party candidate.

If they stick to the Ryan Plan, Republicans will lose without any more help from Bachmann.
