I’m thinking she won’t be convicted of anything and will likely spend very little time in court. There will be some kind of quiet settlement where she pays an undisclosed fine.
I’m aware of civil suits that are settled with no public disclosure of the terms, but this seems to be a criminal matter. Can such a thing be settled privately?
Oh, look! The Three Stooges decided to make a private trip to Egypt to stir shit. And their queen linked the Muslim Brotherhood to 9/11.
This should end well.
I was really enjoying Bachmann’s quiescence since she said she wasn’t going to run again. Sigh, all good things must come to an end.
I will be looking forward to reading about the campaign drama as it unfolds.
You will note that our representative from the burnt over districts of West Iowa, little Steve King, and Representative Gohmert from God knows where , are in on the scam, too. The three pillars of ignorance.
Any way we can cancel their passports and not let them back in ???
Isn’t there a law against that? I seem to recall such a law being mentioned when Jimmy Carter comes under criticism for private diplomacy.
How about a three-way Steel Cage Death Match, with the Republican nomination for President as the prize? Three to one on Michelle Batshit.
“You need balls to be President? Well, now I got four! Weren’t mine an hour ago, but they are now!”
And by the way, Spavined, get yer ass in here more often! Slacker! The salons of Des Moines and the demimonde of Ames will get along without you for a few hours…
The latest insanity from this babbling schizophrenic.
I’m thinking a total breakdown and a divorce is in her not-too-long term future.
This is my favorite part.

Yes it gives us fear in some respects because we want the retirement that our parents enjoyed.

WTF is that supposed to mean? Is she worried about Social Security? Florida? The availability of Depends?
Maybe we’ll get lucky and she’ll Rapture herself.
You mean Marcus is going to shave his beard? ![]()
I gotta wonder about him. A ‘converted’ gay man who ran a program to ‘counsel’ other gay men back to being straight. Obviously, visually a gay man, presumably seriously repressed and possibly conflicted. Married to a completely batshit crazy woman who goes deeper down the rabbit hole of sanity with each passing year, and is doing so on a very public stage.
And I gotta think that, especially now as her Congressional career is winding down and the crazy keeps ratcheting up, would her psyche be able to withstand the blow if he was caught stepping out with another man?
Wait, what? Where and when did he say this?
He didn’t. That was someone else who was in the news recently. It would be easy to confuse them. Marcus Bachmann hasn’t said he was gay.
Alan Chambers, maybe?
He has never admitted to being gay*, but there have been a lot of stories about it and while he keeps denying that his clinic runs a ‘pray away the gay’ program, it’s been pretty firmly established that they do.
- Of course not! He’s on record as telling his PatG patients that being homosexual is ‘not acceptable to God’.
Maybe she needs to pray the gay away.
Or just serve him with papers, that works too.
Stories from men claiming to have slept with him?
Or just stories of him prancing, having his chin usually tilted ever so slightly upward, and stuff like that?
