What the fuck is she talking about? I mean, what does she THINK she’s talking about? What “re-ordering of America’s food supply” is she referring to? A google news search turns up nothing but Bachmann’s own ravings.
I did find this, which I guess is what’s she’s referring to at the top of the quote:

Having spent some time at the State Fair, selling mini-donuts from the DFL booth, and watching the average Americans strolling by, I think making us eat less might be a good idea. It was astonishing to see how many people were, to put it bluntly, fat. I could afford to lose a few pounds myself, but many of these people could lose dozens of pounds! (And really need to, for their health.)
It’s become increasing difficult to lampoon her, she does such a great job of it herself.
She maintains a straight face though and that scares me.
