Maddy the VunderDog is lookin’ like a real country dog there Bobbio. Lovin’ the pink collar. Tres Chic. Also should make it easier to spot her during her cotton field romps.
Do I detect cookies in your pantry? I see peanut butter, shortening, a whole lot of disposable plates and what looks like boxes of mac & cheese too. You know, of course, it ain’t all that much trouble to make real mac & cheese, right? Looks like a big pantry.
The place is lookin’ good there. VunderLair shall be the envy of all of Mayberry.
Wow, Bobbio, I do not envy you the battle ahead with the jungle! Also, that must have been kind of a big fire. The inside of the house is looking nice. Also, I noted in your pantry that you have what appears to be a juicer or smoothie maker that looks brand spankin’ new and never used. It looked like all the paperwork was still inside it.
Of course, I’m one to talk. I have a smoothie maker, and I’ve used it a few times, but I can’t remember the last time I used it. It makes tasty treats and drinks; I don’t know why I don’t use it more often. Oh! Yeah! When I think about making a smoothie, I don’t have all the required ingredients on hand. Then, when I’m at the store, I promptly forget that I wanted a smoothie the night before and I don’t get the required ingredients. It’s a vicious circle, it is.
The “Society Rig”, as my hubby likes to call my rig, has been washed and chamoied. He’s currently down getting it’s oil changed. In washing the rig, we discovered pitch on the hood and on the passenger side front fender. Dammit! I don’t know where it could have come from, because I purposely make sure I don’t park near fir trees. The only thing I can think of is that it happened last weekend at our friend’s new house in the country. Ah well, I’m sure there are products to remove it from my rig without (hopefully) damaging my clear coat and paint.
**FCM, ** that french toast casserole sounds tres’ yummy. Both versions, actually. I, too, am a big fan of nutmeg and would most definitely incorporate into the recipe.
I’m going to have to start din-din soon. It’ll be sketti and meatballs, again. But, the sauce always taste better the second day anyway.
Oh, yum, FCM. I’m another one who will use either version, definitely with nutmeg and possibly with some added ginger, which I love with peaches.
Looks like lots of work, Bobbio. When you’re done, can I persuade you to come visit Ohio to help with the back 40? Well, they’re not really 40. Unless maybe square feet? Yards? Haven’t measured it, but the very back of my garden is still completely out of control. I’m hoping to clear most of it out before winter. Of course, this will be the third fall in a row that I’ve wanted to do that.
Nice house, too. I really like the way the living room turned out.
Glad I’m not the only one who goes to a church where people get drafted, swampy. At our church the eye to avoid isn’t the priest’s, it’s the mass coordinator’s.
Went to the coffehouse to do a bit of work and have a coffee (lack of milk drove me there).
Just had dinner (tortellini, fresh tomato, last little bit of cheese). I still have 1/2 a mango waiting as dessert. Now I’m watching the A&E version of Pride and Prejudice and am going to get back to work as soon as I move laundry again.
Don’t need to be out of the house in the morning till 8:30, so I can get a fair amount of work done in the morning as well.
She is getting in touch with her inner redneck. When I was wiring the lights for trash trailer last weekend, I had the tongue blocked up so I could get access, and Maddy kept laying underneath it like she was raised that way…
VWife does make good M&C the real way. The boxed stuff is mostly for the VunderKind, when he comes.
Good spot on the smoothie maker. We ate a lot of ice chips after gastric surgeries, and she bought that to make it easier than cubes in the blender. 'Cept, by the time she got it, the need for ice chips was waning.
Who are you and how did you end up married to my husband? Is he practicing polygamy on me?!?
Back from a half way decent day at work. The MF guy had been transferred, yet he came back to our unit, to “visit” and “say hi” WTH? So, I said “hi”.
<shrugs>
