At the time of writing of Meeko’s post, he had an explanation. At the time of this, he has two. Somehow, him not reading an answer is the same as me dodging a question. Way to punish me for his stupidity - its not exactly in short supply.
PS - this entire exchange proves my point about how Meeko and I browse at similar times. I pity everyone who has to wade through all this to find answers - sorry about that. In the meantime, if there is any point I have missed please bring it to my attention.
This is very different wording from Rysto’s wording, and yet this is supposed to be evidence in Rysto’s favour. In the words of a particular racist, washed up Australian politician - please explain.
Do you mind posting your PM, so that people who have no clue, can guess at your exact pm, Because obviously, just telling them the truth, that it is, won’t help them.
Peeker, Rysto, I don’t know about you guys, but I think I am playing in my first Gastard Mod game.
How else would Rysto know that I got a PM related to healing?
Oh, I know, you are going to repeatedly dodge this question, by stating what a stupid question it is, and then, you will state that it is not a question, even though it is.
Has there ever been a mafia game that has been, for lack of better words, perfectly linear? That is, a handle on a big machine just turned one revolution, all of the cogs worked perfectly, and at the end of the day, one dead scumcicle pops out?
I would think, at the very least, the best a mafia game can do, is linear, with a few loop the loops. covering past ground, just to accelerate in the future?
I look back at the line this game has, and I see a few overhand knots, a few nooses, a few pretzels, a double chained crochet loop, a monkey’s fist, a couple braids, a couple bends.
Well, that’s the fun of the game. This is not a newbie oriented Mafia game, so it has contained a fair amount of power roles and has two scum factions. I’ve actually preferred this to a simpler game.
Did you read the Werewolf: The Split game that preceded this one? Even if you skim it, you can see what made it simpler and more linear. There were very few power roles and any roles that existed were not overly powerful. In addition, there was only one scum faction(the Werewolves). No strategy discussion could occur at Night, either, which placed extra emphasis on our Daytime conversation.
Ummm… wtf… now I am convinced that you are ensinned…
Here in this quote you say healing… the PM from Pede talked about protection… not healing… so either you edited the PM from Pede… or you are lying about the healing part to try to save AW…
Either way shit doesn’t add up… I would vote you, but I don’t think you are a BH… because Ed would have said something… and the possibility of a scum mason is not unlikely… but to not tell the masonry it had scum in it is gastardly…
He is the problem… if you aren’t BH… and AW is telling the truth… then why would you try to protect Rysto? I dunno wtf is going on, but I’m gonna trust AW for now and try to figure this shit out later…
I said related to healing. The point is this, the PM I posted is the PM I got.
I meant Protection not Heal. This is why I made it a point to say RELATED to healing. At the end of the day, I know that Rysto did something good for me.
Rysto targeted me in a way that helped me. More than once. If I needed that help or not, I am not sure. Pede and I talked about this in PM. It was a few words short of F4.
The wording in Rysto’s claim said “healed”… your PM says “protected”… There have been others who were “healed”… So it seems to me that either Pede botched the wording… or you guys are trying to make the rectangular block fit in the square hole.
Shitty thing is… Pede cannot come right out and say he botched the wording if that is what actually happened… because it would confirm you are telling the truth.
Ok, let’s suppose that I’m lying scum and I’m not responsible for the PMs that Meeko and Peeker have received. Where is that person, then? Every player other than AllWalker himself has voted AllWalker toDay. We’re either at lynch or lose or a mislynch away from it; if some other player actually caused those PMs to go out, why the hell hasn’t he claimed? Even if that player is anti-Town, they could get huge townie cred by exposing me as a liar.
But no player has spoken up. The only reasonable explanation for this is that I am not lying, and I am responsible for those PMs – even if pedescribe has been loose with the wording, and somebody did point out toDay that pedescribe did warn that he wasn’t going to try and be consistent with the wording of his PMs.
Yes, it is currently to early to talk about toMorrow. We can think about it individually(Lord knows I have), but let’s keep the discussion until Nighttime.
Most of our discussion is going to be dependent on whether AllWalker turns up scum or not. It certainly looks like he is dying toDay, so let’s wait until we know for sure his status before discussing things. Why have conversation that may end up being moot?
Go back over your questions to me. Create a list of those I have not addressed. -10 points for every question you claim I dodged, yet didn’t. Go.
If anyone else out there feels I haven’t addressed this point yet, feel free to lynch. Also, if I may:
repeatedly: to do more than once. I haven’t done this at all. dodge: to cleverly avoid answering. I answer, you pretend I don’t. Example - the quote above. I have already explained one possible solution to this. state that it is not a question: yeah, I did that one. It was so overflowing with retard I couldn’t dignify it as a question. Didn’t stop me answering it, though, did it?
For Meeko, once again, I will address this concern. This time, please read it. Or don’t. But don’t pretend this post doesn’t exist, and try not to write a reply that psychologists will use as a case study in the effects of confirmational bias on rational deduction.
Consider: the BH will know the actions of the other BH. One of the BH, maybe Rysto, maybe not, has the power to block sinfection, or something else than could be considered protection. This BH performs this action on a number of people, and shares this with the other Scum. Now, since I have pointed the finger at Rysto, he either rightly or wrongly takes credit for this protection. He claims to be a Town Doc, a fabrication.
There. Feel free to ignore my perfeclt plausible and consistent answer, just like you have been doing all Day.
Now, Rysto’s concern:
Well, the Sinners would want me dead, that’s 2 or so votes right there. The BH would want me dead, that’s 3-4 votes. String up some plausible accusations against me and there is the case.
It could be that Tel was the only Town aligned Doc. It makes me think that there could be a Sinner antiBH Doc, and a BH antiSinner Doc. As for fellow Scum outing you - scraping up some scraps of Town cred, while letting a Cop live, is not a fair trade. That assumes that we are not at LyLo, in which case all the Scum need are one dead Townie.
As for inconsistancies in the wording, the whole point of Rysto’s breadcrumbing was the same phrase reoccuring.
As a final remark, I would just like to say that no one has adequately addressed the use of a character name in my claim. Not to bring up anyone dodging a question or anything
It took me a really long time to figure out what you were asking. I think it’s because you asked it like it’s a standard thing that all scum do. Not so. In all the times I have played scum I have never used a false role PM that involved altering mine. I think I’ve only been in a mass claim situation a few times, and of those times that I was scum I used a completely manufactured fake PM that was configured to match vanilla PMs.
I have falsely claimed town tracker before as a scum tracker though… that was pretty easy… just change the wincon and subsitute the parts that say scum with town.
