The Crimson Glyph (Werewolf/Mafia/Psychopath)

If by Day 2 or 3 there was a group of 4 or 5 players who hadn’t said anything at all, Town would lynch them. It’s when there’s only one or two players that are hanging back and not participating that it becomes difficult to judge scum vs. town. And it is impossible for anyone who is vanilla town to reveal too much information because they have none. They’re sandbags that should get tossed in front of the blackhearts to buy the power roles time to get information. Nilla towns who don’t post are playing poorly.

You and me both, ed. Note to self: do not join 4 mafia games during finals week.

Yes, you are starting to catch on.

There’s one point I don’t think you’ve grasped. The Scum cannot actively work toward their goals here in this thread. They need to pretend to be Town. They must pretend to be working toward Town goals. If they don’t, we’ll lynch them.

THAT is why we need to encourage everyone to participate. Either the Scum have to actively work toward eliminating themselves (and some scum will actively lynch their teammates) or we’ll lynch them.

And this DOES make it beneficial for the Scum to lurk. However, if they participate too little, they run the risk of being mod-killed.

On preview, Inner Stickler, I would still recommend that we don’t lynch the lurkers without giving a Vigilante an opportunity to kill them so we won’t have to.

We get no data from lynching lurkers.

I’m so hell-bent I’m not even currently voting for you…although saying things like “This is an OMGUS vote and I don’t care” is likely to change my mind on that in a hurry.

Poor choice of words. All I meant is that your vote came at a time when the vote was still fairly close, hence (assuming my theory that Angel is scum) scum motivation to vote at that time would have been higher than very early or late in the voting.

I mean posts 250-300. My impression from reading the rules is that there will be no modkilling for nonparticipation this game.

Is that right?

OK, I’m out of game time for today (not caught up yet, stopping to camp for the night at post 900).

Since he appears to have a confirmed Mason claim,

unvote Meeko

For not caring if she casts OMGUS votes,

vote Angel of the North

And I miscolored my question earlier
**
Is it true that players will not be Modkilled for non-participation? How about if players specifically request that the Mod do so?**

Thing Fish, I think Ped wants us to vote in purple to remove people from the game and he will try to find a sub.

I was planning on just subbing, but given how many substitutions I’ve had to do already, modkilling may be necessary. However, I’m not counting posts this game. If you (the players) think it’s necessary, you’ll have to bring it to my attention (hence the purple voting).

Guys, do we want to consider subbing or modkilling Captain Pinkies?

Nanook, I am not familiar with your low post count combined with high post quality pattern. When you say yo udon’t want to explain it again, just understand not all of us have played in games with you. It’s cool, though. I see that you have posted more recently.

Anyway, what do we want to do with Captain Pinkies?

**
Replace Captain Pinkies with somebody else**

I’m good with that.

Replace Captain Pinkies

If we are replacing Captain, AND given what Nanook has said…

UGH

Unvote Nanook
**

Replace Captain**

Neta:

Or Can we still vote Captain?

Do you jump on just any bandwagon? Yes, I think that replacing Captain Nanook is not a “game vote”. You can still vote for Nanook if you want.

:confused::confused::confused:

Didn’t think this was a bandwagon, if indeed it is not a game vote.

Would you rather I vote to keep Captain aboard the ship here?
Nanook more less handed me my ass. Im not gonna still vote him.

Well, Nanook has responded and made me satisfied he is worth keeping in the game for now.

Were you planning to unvote Nanook before? Getting rid of Captain Pinkies is separate, unless I am wrong.

I was going to vote a lurker, Nanook has very good points.

I am sick and tired of everything changing on a dime here.

Perhaps I’m not clear on what “bandwagon” means.

I think it implies little to no thought on my part. I do think about things. I see that someone else is going where I want to go. Is it bad to second an Idea in a timely manner?

I try to give reasons where and when I can, how I can. I don’t think I can present them any other way, and there is no guarantee that you will understand me the second time I try it out either.

I’m about to go to bed. I’m happy with my paul vote. His claimed tracker power does not make any sense for a Town role.

Uh, don’t you want to at least tell us what you want to do with Captain Pinkies?
