The thing about ed and meeko both claiming to be some sort of Mason equivalent and both backing each other up would be a very risky, and stupid, scum play. So I’m inclined to believe them.
Just one question, though: do you guys share the Town’s wincon, or do you have your own? I know you already said you are aligned with town, but I want it explicitely stated.
I would also like to hear more from BillMC - I count 4 posts with any content at all, one of which was a mod question.
I’m not posting my PM completely, as it gives away the total number of masons.

I was looking at the same for Bear and Rysto .

Yea, I subbed in. Now, think how difficult it is to join a game in progress. Now… imagine joining THIS game in progress. Not to mention that the game itself seems like a work in progress what with all the mod confusion, rule changes, and overall bewilderment of the players.
I am here. I am reading. I am tracking… somewhat. I am not going to have a decent opinion of what’s going on for at least a lil while. Once things get back to normal here and things settle, I will be all over it.
Until then… it’s nice just to not have everyone trying to lynch me.

Rysto actually has 40 posts if I am looking correctly, but I am not yet sure of the content of them. I will review Rysto’s posts to see if he has been mainly posting fluff or if he has been contributing.
We were told that Rysto might not be talkative when he subbed in, so we might want to give him a bit of leniency…but not too much.

He’s posted fairly regularly and made genuine comments in most of his posts…not tons of fluff and nearly zero “outside the game” comments.

Day One: He joined the very aggressive conversation about what ostracization and lynching and executing and all that stuff was. Hey, who didn’t? He chose ostraciation of Paul.

Day Two: He discussed paul’s claim and the validity of it. He discussed power roles, both those we know about(Telcontar’s, for example) and those we are speculating on. He has voted paul, currently.
He hasn’t posted a ton, but his posts have been quite substantial. I have no idea if he is scum and he hasn’t really “pinged” my radar, so to speak.
However, there is no evidence he is lurking and a vote for him would have to come out of another line of thought.
Boy, this thread is difficult to dissect. I am trying to look through the dialogue, looking for tells, and am not even close to finished.
Here’s what I am thinking so far:
Freudian has played an interesting round so far. Not necessarily scummy, just interesting a few things jump out:
*low post count. Not lurker low, in fact not much lower than mine.
*a lot of these posts were defending herself in defining whether scimming a thread is a scum tell. This is addressing accusations, no problem.
*Day 1, dedicated to targeting Chronos. For being weird.
*Day 2, dedicated to targeting paul. For having a double-edged power.
The Day 1 targeting was strange to me. Posts like #215 and #218 seemed to come out of nowhere, backed up by the weak justification of Chronos “wasting a vote” by voting “blindly”. This seemed like strained justifications for voting.
But, this is nowhere near scummy enough to earn a vote. I just hope I or someone else can build a better case over the next few days.

Yeah, I just meant, that I can understand that you have to make up. I’m not going to think you are scummy because of lurking.
That is ALL I meant with that. I didn’t mean anything against it, but there is a limit to that… allowance, which I think is only fair.
Well, I did a quick review of Rysto and now Allwalker has done a brief review of Freudian Slit.
At some point(Day Three???), we should assign each of us two people to look at, with the possible inclusion that we explain our own Day actions at the same time.
In the last game I played, I believe we did not assign anlalizations until Day Five or so, in order to have to deal with less alive players.
The nice thing about doing this is that instead of “off the cuff” reactions to what someone says, we actually can sit down and really take a look at what people have said and done…in a relatively organized way.
I have no idea how to “randomly” assign everyone two others to check out. I’m sure there will be whiners and so forth about it, but it can work.

Yet, they DO offer protection from Blackhearts.
