Easy enough to do. We choose an unpredictable numeric event and an ordering of the players. For the unpredictable event I suggest the total number of points scored in all NBA playoff games tonight(May 8th). For the ordering, use the player list that ped gave us. Feed the total number of points into a pseudo-random number generator and use that to assign every player two others to look at.
Assuming that Paul has been truthful about his powers. This is not a good assumption to make.
Why not? From what I’m reading, Paul has 4 powers, 3 of which could really be used for any side. The last remaining one (the first one that he listed) says that he can remove the seed of sin from someone. That’s anti-sinner, and pro-town but also very much pro-blackheart. The sinners win when everyone has the seed of sin within them, so that power is equally useful to both blackhearts and town.
I’m not saying Paul is a blackheart, I just don’t think the idea should be dismissed just yet.
or the Stock Market.
Fair enough.
Doesn’t actually mean that we would all do the job assigned though. Not Implying I won’t, because I Will do the job, nut saying this isnt the issue here.
NETA:
The issue here is that we can’t force people to do something. Would be a much different game if we could.
Randomization is fair. Just doesn’t mean the jobs will get done.
Perhaps Paul was given a power, such that he would be good on ANY side, at any point point in the game, having converted over, prayed back, or what ever else.

Well, it’s true that we can’t guarantee people would do it, but it would be a pretty pro-town thing to do.
Anyway, we can wait. It doesn’t have to be on Day Three, even.
Yea, I get it. Don’t worry. Hopefully by the start of the next day I will be right there ready to engage players. If I’m lucky there will be nice post by post analyses of what the other players have done so far. Cause really… this game has been all fucked up.
Is it possible to have a new thread for the next Day?
I’m just checking in because I’ve been unable to access this board all day. Wondering if anyone else had the same problem?
Yes, I was having trouble earlier.
Have we actually agreed that paul will attempt to remove the Seed of Sin from Angel tonight in order to test his claim? I know that Chronos unovted him based on the assumption that he would do so, but, although I could be missing something, I don’t remember that paul actually committed to doing that. I think if he isn’t willing to do so, we should lynch him Today.
I was actually away from my PC for most of the day. Go figure.
I second this motion.
Unfortunately, no. You have to ask for special permission here–it’s happened once. The problem with that is that the older threads get buried quickly under all of the other stuff, making it even harder to find past days. It really doesn’t work.
This assumes that he isn’t NK’d before he can purge Angel.
If he were to do it, AND Pede could publicly verify that Angel is no longer sinfected, I would agree to this set up.
BUT.
I think Blackhearts want Paul, one way or another.
**
Can you night choice the night you are NK’d?**
Yes.
Well, I don’t think it is likely that **Ped **will publicly confirm whether Angel is telling the truth or not. But, presumably if Angel reports that she has NOT been dis-sinfected, we will then lynch Paul, and if **Paul **comes up Town we will likely lynch Angel.
Therefore, I don’t think a scum Angel would be likely to lie about that, since it would lead to her own death. If Angel says she is still infected, she is either Town and telling the truth, or (less likely) she is Scum taking the rather risky gambit that Paul is a member of the other Scum faction.
If Angel says she* has *been cured, on the other hand, this could mean anything; maybe she is telling the truth, maybe she and **paul **are scum working together, maybe Angel is scum who was lying about having been ensinned in the first place and is now covering her tracks (in which case paul could be either Town or a member of the other Scum faction). So I wouldn’t conclude anything about either of their alignments in that case.
But if Angel says she has not been cured, it seems like we probably have found scum, so I think it is definitely worth a try. Of course, that would imply I would need to find someone else to vote for Today, and I have no idea at all who that would be at this point.
There is a chance Paul could be nightkilled, in which case this will accomplish nothing, but it will also cost us nothing. Since we can’t predict what decision scum will make, let’s work on the assumption that he will not be nightkilled.
I predict that scum would debate an elaborate WIFOM If else then loop. And in the process narrow the choices down to Paul or Angel, leaving himself out of the choices.
To use a term I haven’t used yet, Thingfish,

You are pinging me. Bad.**
Sorry I haven’t been on for a couple of days: A deadline turned out to be a bit earlier than I had thought, and I didn’t have time to spend on the game. That’s done now, though, so I’m now trying to catch up. Expect more in however long it takes me to read this.
