Captain Pinkies, we all had access problems yesterday for a few hours, but why haven’t you been playing all Day? No reason to get offended about it…you are the one who hasn’t played.

I may be afk for the next day, so I’ll vote now. I’m not really ready, but not voting would be the scummiest thing I can do… short of blowing up our gathering hall. If i get the chance I might change my vote.

Sorry been reading the pages of posts… I have no excuse for my lack of checking the board other than, I knew I was forgetting something but could figure out what… Anyway, not trying to be defensive… You are correct I am not the one partipating… I’ve upped the board on my links list so that I can easliy get back here… I am finding this board format really hard to follow, but I’ll do my best… But weekend time is family time and I have limited over next 24 hours to actively play… So if want to have me subbed out I understand…

Joey, I was wondering the same thing myself…what was I missing? I don’t understand how Paul can verify me when presumably when I’m done praying, I’ll be disinfected anyway?
Maybe my PM will be different depending on whether prayer cures me or Paul cures me?
I’d also like to point out that I have no idea whether Paul is a sinner or not. While I’m praying, I haven’t been added to the to Sinner thread. I also have no indication of what would happen if I chose to embrace the sin instead.
Indeed, I’m still not sure that there IS a Sinner thread. Note Pedescribe’s answer to my question about whether the original Sinners knew each other’s names and numbers.
In fact, I’ve thought about this overnight and I think what it means is that we started the game with one Sinner only.

Well, it can’t be ruled out, but I’m not sure that would make for a balanced game. What happens if the almost-random lynch on the first day had just happened to hit the sole Sinner, wiping out the entire faction in one swell foop? And as someone else pointed out earlier, one would expect Dimmsdell and Hester to both be on the same faction.
That makes sense. Is a third party going to verify this or is it going to be an honor system? Come to think of it, if everything goes as planned, it would basically make them masons, sorta.
OTOH, we still haven’t completely ruled out Paul being scum. It unlikely, yes but giving scum the ability to desinfect would almost make them like an alpha scum. Yeah, I know I know, an investigator would still come up with scum (if he is) but he’s using his power power to ‘prove’ he’s town.
Guys, I’m not sure I’m going to be able to keep up with the game…I’m already really far behind. I PMed pedescribe about being subbed out but he hasn’t gotten back to me.
We don’t even know if we have any third parties who can verify it, and if we do, they might well consider that they have better uses for their actions. Besides, even if we did, who will guard the guardians? Maybe the guy who claims to be able to verify it is Scum, too.
I haven’t completely ruled out anyone being scum other than myself, Spurious George, and Telcontar. All we can do is gather evidence and work with the best information we have, and that’s what this plan is aiming for, more evidence.
The only way to rule out people being scum is by death, which is how we knew about Telcontar and Spurious George or through mason-type links. Special Ed and Meeko have claimed to be busybodies and town aligned. If we lynch one or if one gets NK’ed and the mod role reveal verifies their claim, then the other is verified as is anyone else that they claim as a busybody.
Now, the paul and angel discussion has been discussed earlier. If he reports back tomorrow that he dis-sinfected Angel and Angel claims to still be sinfected then we lynch paul. If paul turns up town, the next day we lynch Angel. If he reports that he dis-sinfected Angel and Angel agrees, then they’re either both scum, or town, most likely.
I got that, just don’t forget to take into consideration that Paul could desinfect Angel toNight and still be scum. This would be a great way to help make a town claim. I mentioned earlier that I felt his role was equally suited for scum or town.
