Well that’s the thing - it was antitown, but pro every player. And it needed a full claim on behalf of the Scum - which would be the most protown outcome possible.

I see it as a creative, if foolish, interpretation of the rules and wincons. It may even have worked, even if it violated the spirit of the game. But it was by no means scummy.

Um, are you going to keep voting/unvoting? Might it be simpler to simply make your points, and decide when you are caught up?

As I read that: Meeko thinks, based on my admittedly convoluted idea, that I might be a Scum power role. Obviously I don’t agree with his conclusion, but I guess I can sort of see his argument for it. If I am indeed a Scum power role, then it’s to the Town’s advantage for me to not only be lynched, but also executed, lest I use some sort of dastardly power tonight. We know that the sin of killing me can be erased, but we don’t know that whatever scummy power I might have can be undone.

It’s certainly possibly, and with pedescribe taking the “neither confirm nor deny” stance on it, my previously-posted plan becomes a lot riskier (if it goes wrong, the most likely outcome would be a victory for Blackhearts alone, which neither I nor most of you guys would be happy with). So it looks like “everyone wins” is not going to happen. A pity, but that was a lot to hope for, so I can’t really be too disappointed about it failing.

Gahh. If you are still alive when I get caught up you must have claimed something and proved it.

so, you skimmed the parts where we discussed the fact while editing was allowed, it was certainly going to be viewed as anti-Town? (see posts 97, 104, 107, 111) Most of these right about the same time you started positng in posts 101 and 102 and before you edited post 123.

I don’t know that I think you’re Scum. Anti-Town, yes. And you seemed to have deliberately made a move (trying to set a precident for editing) which can only be viewed as Pro-Scum.

The only time that I have seen it influence game play was when zuma, tdn, idle, naf or some wacko posted a scum message to the main board. The other times it’s just innocent clean up shit.

I can’t be certain what her motivation may have been. But I do see a possible Scum motivation for making an edit. The possible Scum motivation is to set a precedent for editing in this game. Allowing editing will benefit Scum, not Town.

I see no possible Town benefit for editing a post, especially one so insignificant.
