I’ve seen exactly zero evidence that demons, whether owl shaped or goat shaped have any more basis in fact than God/gods, old or new, and frankly what people want to worship in the forest is of zero interest to me. Are they breaking any laws? If no then I don’t care any more than whether they worship God, Allah, Vishnu or Donald Duck.
Your YouTube videos, while amusing, really don’t prove anything except you have way too much time on your hands. What really attracted my attention is the great big 12 meter owl, to be honest, and I want the thread to focus more on that.
Well, i don’t close my eyes to things that i don’t understand. I don’t usually buy opinions from the big media. I am aware of my little knowledge and physical strengh, so i don’t think that my experience resume everything that happens in this world.
I think that anything that takes away from the dominance of Christianity is a good thing. The fact that its a supposed “demon” in the bible is even better; what better way to prove you’re the good guys than by going against a religion that’s full of lies and bigotry? The fact that the most powerful people in the world seems to worship this idol is a good sign. I’m glad that, at least in secret, the smartest and most influential people are guided by the righteousness of something other than the Christian god, something we can trust, like a terrestrial earth mother figure that’s as old as civilization itself. No more shall we speak of this, lest the religionists get wind of it and decides to stop it. I hope someday we can replace the god on our money and society with this owl, as it represents the truth that humanity should rightly dedicate itself to
Crowley was not a Satanist. He was a Thelemite. In fact, he was the founder of Thelema. Where did you get the idea that he was a Satanist?
Also, “occultism” and “Satanism” aren’t synonyms. Many self-identified occultists also self-identified as Christians - vide Joséphin Péladan, Sedir, Papus and for that matter the entire Ordre Martiniste.
For those exact same reasons, you should not wildly speculate about things you don’t understand; what you should do is try to understand them better. And Alex Jones won’t help you there; Wikipedia might, RationalWiki might, and we Dopers might.
So, what can you tell about all this?? In this area of knowledge, speculation is a necessary thing. Each religion say one thing, each person say one thing and there are little incontestable facts. If you think this isnt true, show us the light and the knowledge too.
