As far as he’s concerned, you and I should only care about feeling good that the last thing HE said makes him look good, why the hell are we paying attention to what actually happens?
And yet he’s constantly thanking people for their “attention to this matter”.

I’d say that’s good news—except that I suspect they have someone even more vicious and nasty ready to take her place.
This is one of those things that really is a horror, but would be pretty hard to explain to a Trumper. Unless they were a physician, it might even sound good to them. Here it is:

The way I understand this: Kennedy and Company had his agency hire Vinay Prasad, a gadfly professor of hematology-oncology at best-of-the-best San Francisco General Hospital. Prasad is the kind of guy who is outstanding when it comes to finding potential and actual flaws in almost any medical study. Maybe I will read this book of his. Most medical schools might benefit from having one or two (but probably one) Vinay Prasad type. But a clever gadfly whose ideas should be considered is not the person to run a government drug approval agency. And having Donald Trump overrule Professor Prasad, even if it leads to one good decision, is going to average out to a health care disaster.
