It looks like Batman is exhausted and about to get torn to shreds by Bane.

Honest opinion - it almost looks fan-made.
A skilled fan, mind you.
From the like 25 seconds of original footage in that trailer, I don’t see how any conclusions can be drawn.
Bats in that “boxing” scene looks more like the Batman of Dark Knight Returns than we’ve seen before in Nolan’s films. I’ll be interested to see if he “retires” in a similar way.
I’m not crazy about the fact that they refer to that film as a “conclusion.” Couldn’t the series be continued, given the quality of the writing and acting? Who needs another film reboot so soon?
Well, I’m pretty sure Nolan and Bale are both done after this. They might make more Batman movies, but they clearly won’t be the same.
Who will be the villain in this?
I wonder if the League of shadows will play some kind of role in the movie. Even if Ras al Ghul is well and truly dead(no Lazarus Pits in the Nolanverse) The organization didn’t die with him.
Someone(Talia?) will probably feel honor bound to avenge him at some point.
At some juncture Batsy will realize that(much like Holmse’s Moriarty) The League was connected in some way with most of the plots Batman opposed.
I could go with that. Meow!
One thing I’ve noticed, is that appears to be Gordon talking to Bruce (not Batman). Perhaps he reveals his secret identity?
I’d agree that the trailer basically reveals nothing to excite or turn off. About all I could tell is that he’d pulled some special effects from Inception.
Here’s a fan made one. I love how it’s grainy and off center to make it look like it was shot from the back row of a movie theater.
It’s actually decent for having no footage from the films in it.
From that short sequence it appears that he is talking to Bruce Wayne, and that Gordon knows, but they never speak of it directly. Gordon is very smart himself and it isn’t really a big deal to reach the conclusion that Bruce Wayne has all the resources and motivation to be Batman. That they have never been seen at the same time, and that Batman is always in close physical proximity to Wayne and his friends when they are in danger.
In the Miller “Return of the Dark Knight” at the start when both Bats and Gordon are retired, it is clear that when Wayne and Gordon are socializing that Gordon knows.
Just from the few scenes in that teaser, I can jump to some wild conclusions, maybe spoilers.
Bane is crawling out of the Batcave, alone, that Bruce’s Dad helped him out of, showing how Bane and Bruce grew up differently.
Bane puts Gordon in the hospital. (Breaks his back?)
Bane wears Batman down until he’s exhausted, then goes after Batman himself.
