… I’m getting on a bus and heading to Gunslinger’s for the weekend. :smiley: He’ll be picking me up at the bus station at 8:00 in the morning Saturday and I’ll be with him until 10:00 on Sunday.

The bus is kind of an annoyance, since it’s taking me from Mississippi to Texas by way of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, but hey, it’s taking me from Mississippi to Texas.

I set up a page where we’ve put info, maybe updates, and Visitphotos once I’m there and we take them.

Tonight, my task is to do my laundry; tomorrow I bake the cookies I’m taking over for him and his family, and pack my bag; and Friday night I’m off!!! :slight_smile: :slight_smile: :slight_smile:

Hope your time together is wonderful. Next time, he gets to ride the bus to see you. Fair is fair, but you might want to get it in writing.

Sounds great. I’m sure you know, Anniz is coming back here on Saturday, but I remember the first time I traveled to meet her. It was exciting, with just a dash of nervousness (but you don’t have to deal with customs, unless Texas has secseeded without telling me), but entirely worth it.

So I’ve been here all day now, yippee (but I leave tomorrow, awww :(). We played Putt-Putt and went to watch a movie (now, whether we actually saw the movie we were at or not is another thing entirely… ;)) and are basically getting along fabulously. There’s a couple pics of us on Visitpage.
