This morning at 9;00 AM I went before a Judge; he asked me a series of questions and then said, “That’s it. The divorce is final.” It took all of fifteen minutes to end a fifteen year marriage. I felt nothing but enormous relief at having this long, drawn out, bitter thing over with.
Now your new life begins. Time to move on and enjoy it.
I just know the jist of your situation but clearly recognize this as a good thing. Kinda reminds me of what Ellis said near the end of No Country… "Well all the time ya spend trying to get back what’s been took from ya, more is going out the door. After a while you just have to try to get a tourniquet on it. "
