people do need to let the Muslim world know, in explicit terms of “radical Islamic terrorism” that ideas that occur under the cloak of Islam will be noted, thus giving Muslims broadly incentive to reform that.

I have no doubt that there are decent Muslims who have US citizenship. But the hijab’s widespreadness, 43% of Muslim-American women, is far more than traditional dress for Jews (6%), and similar numbers for non-Christian religions), needs to be corrected. Diversity is nice, but unity is better. Integration is a sign of patriotism.

What the hell does this have to do with Khizr Khan’s love of country, or his son’s sacrifice?

Why not? Jefferson read the Koran with great interest. Does the sentiment “God bless America” lose any value if it’s (heartfeltedly) spoken in Swahili, Romanian, or Klingon?

That is not really an important sign of patriotism. This is one, and Muslims in America also die for their country.

The difference in ratings is surprising and bad news for the GOP. It’s a big difference, too, over twenty percent from what I’ve read. Eyeballs equals convinced voters.

I would hope it’s a sign that many people have got bored of Trumps standard rant. Sure it’s entertaining to watch one of his speeches the first time, even if you disagree with him, people tuned in to watch the car crash unfold in slow motion. But if you’ve seen it once, or maybe 3 or 4 times by now like many people have…

I think the Republicans say that we should give tax rebates to the people who do not need it, which will result in us having more money. But that will not happen right away, so we have to borrow a bit[sup]*[/sup] to get through to that point.

So let’s be clear … Orthodox Jewish men who wear kippot, or have payot, or women who wear tzniut, are only not a problem to you because more Jews are secularized?
Unity and diversity are not opposites. They coexist as a result of mutual respect and acceptance of the values of this country.
