The Democratic president of the United States of America, the guy who ran against Donald Trump and just launched his campaign to do so again, just called someone "an illegal" in the State of the Union address

You don’t give a shit. You are in fact doing outrage theater. Trump and his cronies are already fucking drowning asylum seeker at the fucking border and fantasizing about mine fields, machine gun nests, sniper towers and a free fire zone with ‘no limit tags’ free to anyone that wants one.

But Biden said illegals so, really, they’re the same, right?

This thread is like a funhouse mirror of white fragility. Just a series of neverending projections upon reflections.

Are you happy?

Lord, X folk are posting that Laken was killed by Biden, because policies.

And we’re the ones who are being hypocrites because “golly gee I can’t believe Democrats aren’t treating Joe Biden the same way as they treat Donald Trump over the use of the word illegal. I swear I saw Joe Biden out there in a white Hood. why don’t you all agree with me?!?!”

There aren’t enough  in the world

I’m sort of reminded of the time, in the days before Lindsey Graham fell into Trump’s asshole, when Trump referred to “shithole countries” and Graham used the phrase when calling him out on it.

Then the MAGAverse jumped on Graham for talking about “shithole countries” and tried to deny that Trump was the one that first used the term.

Ok, what is Biden’s immigration policy then? I profusely apologize for hijacking your thread with a policy issue - after all you haven’t discussed it at all here - but permit me to continue.

It’s certainly robust:

By taking 535 immigration actions over its first three years, the Biden administration has already outpaced the 472 immigration-related executive actions undertaken in all four years of President Donald Trump’s term. Partly as result of these efforts, legal immigration is returning to and in some cases surpassing pre-pandemic levels, including refugee admissions on pace to reach the highs of the 1990s; a new border process seeking to discourage irregular arrivals has been adopted; temporary humanitarian protections have been extended to hundreds of thousands of migrants; and enforcement priorities have been focused on narrower categories of unauthorized immigrants. Combined, these changes have fulfilled some of President Joe Biden’s campaign promises, helped bolster the U.S. economy, and reduced fears of seemingly arbitrary enforcement against removable noncitizens.

But those are just Executive Actions - the real meat would involve Congressional action. But that hasn’t happened for 3 decades.

Trump in contrast, yanked children away from their families and didn’t bother to keep records, a policy with permanent consequences. But by all means Jimmy, keep asserting without evidence the consequences of Biden’s use of the term, “Illegals”. Because -I agree- politics is about posturing, not consequence.

Permit me to continue.
Did you mean, Allow me to retort?

It’s not just the fringe. That seems to be the position of the Republican Party.

Great I should have seen that coming. So we’re going to have another ridiculous conspiracy theory floating around out there now because of this incident.

I heard that “the illegal” was actually a MAGA operative under performing a false flag…

There’s something about the mugshot that seems suspicious,

At his rally in Georgia, he met with and hugged Laken’s parents.

You know I just heard that many people are saying that. Is Greene hiding something? :scream:
And if she is what could it possibly be?! :scream::scream::sob:

(You all saw how concerned I was right? I just want to make sure you all know how concerned I am…) furrows brow furiously

Not outright advocating, but totally cool with it. I’m sure you refer to jaywalkers as illegals as well.

Scofflaws would be appropo.

That is the infamous Don Juan Barron!

I’m not a Christian, but I use this phrase occasionally. Although maybe I should start to say “make someone see the light” instead.

Mao on a pogo stick, after many discussions with 2nd amendment types, I have learned that it is painstakingly hard to find phrasing that no one gets their panties* in a twist about.

*intentional wording and meant in jest should someone take umbrage over this.

Fuck off.*

*intentional wording. Fuck off.

FYI, “as illegal” =/ “as an illegal”.
