I’m sort of reminded of the time, in the days before Lindsey Graham fell into Trump’s asshole, when Trump referred to “shithole countries” and Graham used the phrase when calling him out on it.

It’s certainly robust:

But those are just Executive Actions - the real meat would involve Congressional action. But that hasn’t happened for 3 decades.
Trump in contrast, yanked children away from their families and didn’t bother to keep records, a policy with permanent consequences.
