He’s not the Messiah. He’s a very naughty boy!
It means that on Hillary’s inauguration party, there’ll be the long-awaited surprise Genesis reunion and they’ll do this as their first number. Og told me so.
Coincidentally on sale by a particular Evangelical preacher-type?
I don’t think I’m fighting the hypothetical at all. We’ve got two groups:
a) charlatans
b) omniscient gods
We’ve got two types of prophecies:
- Prophecies that even charlatans can make
- Prophecies that only omniscient entities could make
If I see the second kind of prophecy, I can safely conclude that the prophecy is made (or initiated) by an omniscient god. If I see the first, I can’t.
When I ask Mr. Quatro why a god would make that first type of prophecy, he answers:
Which is of course true. We then have three choices:
a) Try to figure out those motives with our best reasoning skills.
b) Treat God entirely as opaque
c) Come up with some arbitrary description of God with no rational basis.
If we do the first, at best we conclude that “God” is a charlatan, and at worst is a fictional creation all of whose prophecies are actually the words of intentional or unintentional charlatans.
If we do the second, we must conclude nothing about God. God, according to this path, isn’t necessarily omniscient, omnipotent, benevolent, sane, or even (still?) existent in this universe.
If we do the third, we end up saying things like, “God told me this! I don’t know why God is acting like a charlatan, because I’m not supposed to ask, because God told me not to ask, but I sure bet the reasons are great, because God claims to be great, and why wouldn’t I believe a claim from such a great source?”
I don’t really find this last choice very compelling :).
I had to edit your post to answer your post … I left choice ‘a’ of your three part question. The Lord wants us to think about it … if the message I gave had all of the answers then we would just wait and see, but it doesn’t have all of the answers does it.
You have to know that God is different with everyone, same Holy Spirit, same Word of God, same human body, same working parts. Yet we are all different.
Different DNA, different finger prints and even foot prints, by the way did you get a foot print when you were born? I have no idea why my mother saved a foot print of me when I was a baby, but she did.
We humans even have different tongues did you know that. No tongue is the same and no my mother didn’t save my tongue print lol.
What I am trying to get at is that we all think different yet we all have a brain.
I hope you find your answer of why God is the way He is … as a servant of God I don’t ask. I have been mad at God early on and said things in anger like, “Your word does come back to you void”
Know what God did? He laughed at me and I cried and I had to repent. His Word does not come back to Him void. The Lord said not to give you scriptures, but I can’t resist sometimes:
Isaiah 55:10-11King James Version (KJV)
as you have stated, “I don’t think I’m fighting the hypothetical at all”
What you really saying is that you want to understand the Father God and His son Jesus. I also want to understand the Trinity that shapes our souls.
Here’s a seed thought from me without adding to prophecy:https://thinkprogress.org/what-you-need-to-know-about-tim-kaine-hillary-clintons-vice-president-pick-832de5b910a0#.9kwsokhi2
No, that’s not at all what I’m saying. I have no special desire to understand the Trinity any more than I have a desire to understand Artemis or Yog Sothoth or Panyoquyasi the Goddess of Small Rainbows whom I heard someone speak briefly of when I was eighteen.
Look, a friend recently posted a Facebook meme of Charlie’s Angels and challenged folks to think of a more iconic trio. I posted a photo of an icon of the Trinity and wrote “I win.” That’s about the extent of my actual interest in the Trinity: as the basis for silly wordplay.
What I’m interested in–and what you’re apparently not interested in–is why God speaks to you in con-artist-style prophecies.
BUT HERE’S THE SECRET: I THINK I KNOW WHY.
You ready? Here goes:
God speaks to you this way because there is no God speaking to you at all. Instead, you’ve got a tremendous desire to believe that you receive prophecies from God. So part of your mind makes up these prophecies, and does it in such a way that you can later look back and claim accuracy.
I absolutely don’t think you’re doing it on purpose. I don’t think you’re a charlatan. But I do think that these prophecies are originating in your head, not in some supernatural fashion. The fact is, they’re indistinguishable from the prophecies that would appear in the way I’ve described. And you’ve offered zero reason why a supernatural being wouldn’t distinguish the prophecies from ones generated in this fashion.
I could be wrong. I was ready to be persuaded; I remain ready. But you haven’t begun to answer the question, much less to offer a persuasive explanation.
I thought Hillary was nasty, not knife.
So what makes your prophecies any more true than somebody else’s, like Dr. Johann? He says the Lord speaks to him, but apparently He’s telling the two of you different things.
Jesus said:
St John 7:18
Those who teach their own ideas are trying to get honor for themselves. But those who try to bring honor to the one who sent them speak the truth, and there is nothing false in them.

I don’t know any prophets myself, nor have I met any … I’m not really a prophet as defined by the church or by the actions of other prophets in the Bible, but I do have a Word from Him in this election matter and I have given it freely.
Giving a Word of knowledge is a gift of God, but that doesn’t make me a prophet.
Lets see what happens after election night … Let us be sober about what is going to happen. Whatever it is … it has never happened before.
I’m not sure I want to be a prophet … they kill prophets that are wrong.
1 Corinthians 12:29
Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles?
1 Corinthians 12:28
And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
1 Corinthians 14:32
And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.
Numbers 12:6
And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream.
Deuteronomy 18:20
But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.
Deuteronomy 18:22
when a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.
This could be the knife: https://www.yahoo.com/news/m/14c3ac92-0014-3dec-8ef1-1a768ae52b8e/ss_hillary’s-33%2C000-emails-might.html
Hillary’s 33,000 emails might not be ‘missing’ after all
New York Post
Something could be on these long gone emails to put Hillary in enough trouble to have to answer embarrasing questions, but with the election only 13 days away it would be hard to bring them out to the light.
Lets say they reveal wrong doing and Trump has not yet yielded to the election results. He could calim, fowl, fowl, right?
There is no lway he could win even it should go to the supreme court.
Good news
Bad news
Hillary wins November 8th 2016, but on the way to the swearing in cermony January 20th she stumbles and falls.
Quack!
Sure. That could be the knife. So could any large-scale attack on our country. So could a health emergency of Clinton’s. So could an earthquake or a major storm. So could a single mass shooting. So could a split in the Republican party.
The possibilities are endless!
If the revelation of new emails can be “the knife,” then I’m very confident that your prophecy will come true.
Well, if he’s dyslexic, maybe he needs it to put condiments on his hot-god.
Hillary is going to need a good lawyer with Supreme Court experience.
The ‘knife’ must be one of those emails … : Emails Related to Clinton Case Found in Anthony Weiner Investigation
and just 10 and 1/2 days away from the election too.
Unrelated case, looking to see if there was confidential information…
Nowhere does it mention that Clinton is the target, just about the same moves made before to see if secrets were leaked.
Huma might be the knife … if Hillary fires her for this breach of confidence (if that is the case with these emails being investigated from her to her husband).
She could then turn on Hillary and provide the hungry news media/social media/political media/ with new revelations that would be the knife in the back, but I’m not so sure how far this will reach. The timing is really awful, uh?
Then Congress goes on winter break, but I don’t know when, but the US Congress doesn’t meet again till January 3rd, 2017(the first new Congress).
How deep will this knife go? Whatever this is it has never happened before … The DNC will still win, but I’m not sure of Hillary being on the steps to swear in come January 20th, 2017.
Hey, no matter how you twist it, I just wanna inform you that if you think that THIS is the knife, you have you’re fabulous prediction wrong: wasn’t Hillary to be elected before the knife comes :dubious:?
Your one that wants to twist it … I said, “Hillary is still going to win the election”
but who is she going to win it for … the knife part is still to come. The FBI still has an open case on Hillary’s private email server … it’s just a matter of time till they get it right. Ten days is not enough time to clear her name from wrong doing.
This conflict will continue even after the election. The Lord said, “This has never happened before”.
Can’t you see ahead of how angry Trump (not to mention his followers) will be when all of this goes down.
Whatever this is … it will come to pass … His word will not come back to Him void.
I see a roller coaster ride for all Americans, for all of America and for all of the voters, everyone will have an opinion with no one left to turn to except the parties involved.
If the Democrats win November 8th and Hillary doesn’t make it to the inaguration on January 20th … who will?
Man, God is really messing with you. He tells you Hillary’s gonna win the election, and if Trump wins, God’s gonna say, “Yeah, Hillary won the election…FOR TRUMP!”
God’s a lame asshole in this scenario. Why would you ever take God seriously if that’s the quality of his prophecies?
He tells you, “It’s gonna rain tomorrow.” The next day is sunny. He says, “I didn’t tell you WHERE it would rain!”
There’s no use to such annoyingly always-right prophecies.
To late to edit: maybe I’m paranoid about how mods react to words, but I want to be explicitly clear: Mr Quatro, I’m not calling you a lame asshole of any kind. My irritation here is specifically reserved for a hypothetical deity who engages in such behavior. If the prophecy is something you’ve created, your motives (as a non-omniscient being) are entirely different.
