The Depths of Human Depravity

Mark Dixie aged 37, is accused of killing model Sally Anne Bowman.

He denies this but admits to having had sex with her as she lay dead on her mothers driveway, he maintains that he was high on drink and drugs after celebrating his 37 th birthday and further claims that this was the contributory factor which lead him to do what he did.

This lowlife has a previous conviction for indecent assault and has been linked by DNA to another sex attack. He also had video footage which was found at his home, this footage showed him masturbating over a newspaper photo of the murdered girl.

So not content with killing her, and I believe he did, he commits further outrage on her body.

This waste of space is on trial at Londons Old Bailey and it’s a great pity that there is not a suitable punishment for these heinous crimes

[A link to some press would be nice.

I’m not sure why it matters that the victim was a model but I’m more disturbed by the Google ad for “Find Sexy Girls”.

Hey - I didn’t kill her I just screwed her corpse. Can I go now?

Okay, the act is skeevy enough to begin with, but who the hell videotapes himself doing that?

Hey, everyone needs a hobby.

Maybe he needed an alibi for something even worse he knew an associate was doing.

It’s helpful if you need to work on your technique.

Someone who doesn’t have a digital camera?

Not to trivialize an admittedly heinous crime, but would it be better if he raped her before killing her?

Who said it did? It’s a pretty innocuous sentence. Would your reaction be the same if it had read: “Mark Dixie aged 37, is accused of killing pastry chef Sally Anne Bowman”?

To be perfectly honest with you, neither of these acts fits the bill for a rational person

Our previous record depth was here.

I’m not sure this is any deeper.

Note: this is not a Mariana Trench joke. It’s an only slightly more tasteful joke.

I would think the pastry chef was also not needed. It is a bit of a paradox but only if a person is famous for their job, should they mention it.

Actor Heath Ledger is dead.

From what I’ve been able to find, her modeling career had basically just started. So I feel the ‘model’ was put in to basically say “Young and Pretty”, which somehow makes the crime more heinous.
I’ve also been reading where the boyfriend was the original suspect. The one she had a huge fight with that night and from this article there was a dent on the hood of his car. She was stabbed to death.

Was a weapon ever found?

 :smack:
OK, help me here, was it one of the CSIs or one of the Law & Orders that already did a show with THAT plot? Surely one of them must have… and the other now will…

 That girl’s corpse was asking for it, dammit! They’re all asking for it, all the time! Those corpses . . . those . . . those delectably still . . . deliciously silent . . . smoothly cool . . . I’ll be in my bunk.

So you enjoy your job at the mortuary then?

No no, the deepest depth is that nurses aide who hit the guy with her car, drove home with him stuck through the windshield, and left him to die in her garage, while she periodically returned to watch. This was a few years back, at the moment I’m not finding a link.

My god, that was disgusting. Link here .

It now emerges that the accused inserted pieces of concrete and cement powder into the girls mouth and genitals in an attempt to destroy any DNA he left behind

IIRC, he would plead for his life, or for her to get help, and she just said something like, “I can’t, I can’t ruin my life” or something to that effect.
