The pit bull doesn’t know any better.
The pit bull doesn’t take an 8 hour plane ride during labor – she drops the puppy out wherever she’s standing.
Yes, one interview. And they’re going to be ‘sparing’ with others. I really don’t think she’s cut out for this.
Ha. Win.
By Og, wouldn’t you love to see her interviewed by a Bill O’Reilly who treats her just the same as he treats Obama in the interview the O-Man just did?
Nobody can force John McCain to choose a specific pit bull.
A pit bull is more likely to attack another dog than a human.
There isn’t any - they both scare the piss out of black folks.

Shodan
If you’re trying to make the point I think you’re trying to make, I get it. I had a minor moment when I first read it, but I do get it.
I am kind of disappointed at the reaction of the folks on this board (and on the left in general) to the choice of Palin. I found myself doing the same kind of things the weekend after the announcement (I was on vacation Labor Day weekend)…calling her things like Caribou Barbie, etc. I caught myself after about a day and a half of that…what the hell was I doing? Instead of finding out actual policy/philosophy negatives about her, I was calling her out using sexist, downright misogynistic phrasing and thinking. I was disappointed with myself, and the more I read on here and on Daily Kos, I was disappointed with my fellow liberals and liberal/centrists. There is MORE than enough to ding her on based on politics, period. We didn’t need to and don’t need to be lowering ourselves to criticisms based on her hairstyle or glasses or age or family situation or clothing.
We’re undercutting our own arguments here. The fact that Obama is taking the high ground means nothing if his most vocal supporters keep chewing away at the supports for that platform. There is no disconnect in the popular view between Obama and us. What we do either redounds to his benefit or contributes to the tarnishing of his image. This is, actually the only Palin thread I’ve read and opened in the last four or five days, I think. And I tried to respond to it without getting into any sexist comparisons between Governor Palin and a freaking dog. (Yes, I know that trope is taken directly from her convention speech. I’m thinking it was at least in part a tar trap…reach for it and get stuck with it)
Yeah. It’s funny how most of the pit-buller owners I know of are black. Ever seen a rap music video?
Have I been whooshed or something?
I’m going against type and giving Shodan the benefit of the doubt on this one, because IF I’m understanding it correctly, it was supposed to make us stop short and think “What?!” Frankly, the majority of the posts in this thread are at least as sexist as the Republicans are accusing us of. And I’m as guilty as anyone, or at least was at first. Not in this thread…I personally think my contributions here shied away from such gems of civil discourse as comparisons between Palin and a female dog and at least spoke to character and political deficits. But in real life, back when it was first announced…yeah, I wasn’t terribly gender-sensitive.
I just can’t stay angry at you.
A pit bull would have eaten the retarded puppy.
Hey neat! An express elevator to hell!
But would it eat its daughter’s retarded puppy?
I think Palin sucks as much as the next man, but… that is, I think as the next man does, not Palin sucks as the next man does.
Anyway, shouldn’t this be in the Pit?
What if I - like it that way?
Depends on who the next guy is. If it’s jayjay, then I will give him the benefit of the doubt in return and state for the record that he probably sucks a lot better than the next guy.
How he compares to pit bulls, I wouldn’t know. I’ve never had sex with him. A pit bull? Not saying.

Shodan
Well, as it turns out, the next man was you, so apparently I dislike Palin much more than the next man does.
One gets put to sleep when its vetting isn’t reliable.
Um, she’s actually quite mattressable.
Well, I’ve been told that…
