After all, I only have 4 varieties, 'bout 20 plants. I’ll likely only get a few kilos off 'em, so I doubt they’ll even make it to the kitchen. 
My favourite fruit, with the sole exception of feijoas, which are completely unobtainable here. 
Anyway, I just had a very odd experience- I had to go to the laundrette to do washing, and everyone was being really polite, and letting people in front of them in the queue, despite it being horribly busy. It’s bizarre, it’s normally an angry free-for-all, with everyone fighting over the dryers… I don’t know what’s got into everyone!

Yes - it was an EMG/NCV, which is an easier way to refer to an electromyelogram and nerve conduction velocity test. I have a touch of carpal tunnel syndrome (no surprise there) and I don’t have ulnar nerve entrapment.
So, this pretty well means that the problems I’m having are coming from the spine, and there is plainly visible disk herniation on the MRI. Now to wait to see what the surgeon thinks of it and what he thinks we should do for it.
What an icky, murky gray day! As if the doctor visit wasn’t enough of a downer, the weather is not helping!
I’m glad my friend is patient. I was supposed to be there at 1 and I fell asleep… in the bathtub.
So I’m waiting to dry off a bit more and get dressed and go.
So it will be a late lunch or early dinner, depending on how you look at it.
Reminds me of falling asleep in my friends hot tub. It was so relaxing until a falling acorn would bop me on the head.

‘Tis 80 degrees Amurrkin out. Weird for even down heah in January. Thus I have windows opened at da cave and ceilin’ fans on. Feels kinda good.

It’s raining, so it’s dreary and icky and cold. But I’m not in the office any more, so that’s good.
Supper will be foraging. We went to Red Robin for lunch and I got my free birthday burger, and I’s stuffded.
My brain is mush - that’s all I’ve got for now.

Why?
For forty years, my dad has bitched and moaned about how much the VA sucks. It did suck forty years ago. Now, not so much. Especially since now they’re covering his medical stuff. 
Finally got that stubborn old coot to use the VA. My triumph for this decade.
I hate hot and muggy. I like cold. I live for cold. I am probably part polar bear.
And yet you seem so normal…
I think you can take shots for that…
Anyone who wants winter can have mine, complete with ice rain and slippery roads.
And temperatures so cold that they make your nostrils stick together, but we haven’t had those temperatures in a few weeks.
