Based on the recent “do you get drunk” poll and one poster who said they were durnk as they answered the question, and based on many discussions in the past about posting while intoxicated and how it’s generally a bad idea… I decided it might be a fun experiment to have a thread dedicated to such an activity.
A few caveats: please don’t go get drunk just so you can post here. Seriously, and be safe when you drink–as always–and only if you’re of legal age.
Drunk doesn’t actually mean drunk… if you have had something to drink and you can feel it, you count for the sake of posting here.
If you’re sober, feel free to read the thread but please don’t post.
Nobody is allowed to get on anybody’s case later (here or in other threads) for sounding retarded in this thread.
So it may be interesting. Or it may fall off the page and never be seen again. Who knows? The general idea isn’t a “woohoo, everyone drink and post stupid” thread, it’s more of a “I’ve been drinking and I’m reading the SDMB, but I don’t feel like I should post because I may say something dumb… but I feel social and want to post! Oh, hey, I can post over here in this thread worry-free!” kind of a thing.
