I was going to redo my resume, but on closer inspection it appears to be just fine. I guess now it’s time to run it up a flagpole once I see what kind of jobs are open right now.

I wasn’t supposed to be at irk today, but I got out of what I was supposed to do, so I’m at irk but not really irking. My horse had a snotty nose yesterday (anipal TMI) but Code Milky Green is all clear today.
I am in the same boat, Jynxster. Of course, that doesn’t stop the stupid data calls and short suspenses. Example: They expect me to get a one month project done in two days. Unrealistic and ain’t gonna happen. They can can suck it.
It has been nothing but torrential downpours and urban flooding out here since Saturday. The rivers are rising, and are on flood watch and/or warn. Saturday was the wettest day on record and they’ve been recording rainfall since 18 something out here. This morning there was thunder and lightning and last night there were high winds. Even using an umbrella while walking from the parking lot to my building (not a short trudge), I managed to get pretty damn wet.
Anyway, I must get moving on all my STOOPIT work. I’d rather be home. If it turns out I will not be working come tomorrow or Wednesday, I’m going to have to cancel my trip to Kauai. I’m supposed to leave this Saturday. I have been looking forward to it and really needed this after the long, shitty year I’ve had.
