Yes, against the advice of everyone here, I bought the Pearl White one. I hope you all will see the wisdom in this when I post pics. She is beautiful.

I got Things Accomplished today. Unfortunately one of the things I accomplished was encouraging my ol’ gimpy back into acting up. Sun salutations are good for stretching out your back. They are also good for encouraging bad behavior. Detailed AGM mentioned a massage school around town that had good rates. I need to find out where it is and make an appointment.

sari today is teh suck for me as well. Not a thing has been accomplished at irk because it’s been a day of puttin’ out fires and other people’s messes. I haven’t mentioned it lately but I’m still puttin’ feelers out.

At work, setting up to do a live talkback with DC’s Mayor about the pending shutdown.
Nice weekend. Did a quick visit to my parents with a friend yesterday, returned across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge (MD) around 3pm.
At 6pm the bridge caught fire. Not my fault. Great scanner listening.
Anyway, happy Monday. Blurf and all that shit.
There is a tire shop next door to the “Audio Shop” where I often work. Jerry the owner is a nice guy, we like him. We caught him buying roofing nails in the hardware store, we think he is “seeding” the street for business.

About midmorning, I *finally *got some work to do. However, after tomorrow, I can’t get on base unless someone gets his/her ass in gear and does whatever has to be done to get me another gate pass. So this may be a really short work week. We shall see.
Home now, fish of some sort for supper, and an early night for me. I could not fall asleep last night - it was as if I was super-caffeinated. Plus when I finally did drop off, probably around midnight, I still woke around 3, then dozed off till the alarm went off at 5. Not a good night.
My FIL can use some good thoughts. I won’t go into the details of his medical issues, but he had surgery last week, and again today, and he’s got another coming up in about 6 weeks. He’s 83, and apart from the physical stresses of surgery, he’s really down - not depressed, but very, very sad and despondent. Facing old age will do that to a body. 
And on that happy note, I think I’ll pull something out of the freezer.

Sah-son is mad at me. The driving is going slow because he doesn’t want to get his license. Well now the driving school called because they need to get him off their books and he has no choice but to get his ass out there and drive. I will not pay for him to go to class again. Also, I pointed out to him that he really should get out there and drive before the snow starts.
Speaking of which, hell is likely to be freezing over any day now. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

So, I have a friend who always used to tease me that I needed to find a boyfriend that lived closer to home as my last two boyfriends (Dave included) lived an hour or more away from me. Well. I finally got a local boyfriend, he lives approximately 15 minutes away but unfortunately he’s on the road and only comes home for a couple of days every other weekend. :smack: The good news, I guess, is that RT is planning on getting a local job soonish and going back to school next fall. I’m really looking forward to it.

I didn’t mean for my statement about taking GF applications to be taken as soliciting here but thanks all. I was probably dreaming about Carmen last night but she dumped me 3 1/2 years ago and moved back to Spain, I think that one is finalized.
