Not entirely serious but is something they need to keep an eye on. The placenta typically moves away from the cervix as the uterus and baby grow, but if it stays on my cervix it could cause premature labor and contractions. So not out of the woods yet, but I at least have an explanation as to why I was spotting so early.

Fingers will remain crossed for you, Apes; I know you’ve a long way to delivery yet, and it’s gonna be scary knowing what could happen. Here’s hoping you can take it easy and there are no more scares.

We got to see the baby move and hear the heartbeat again today. The US tech remarked that this baby was a wiggle worm, so I am almost certain it is a girl. Haha
Howdy Y’all from da cave! Actually I’ve been home for a while. I went down south, took care of that, came back to irk, made my report and decided that was enough. I have boiled some chikin breasts/made some broth and both are now coolin’. The boobs will be cubed up to go in a pasta sallit I’m makin’ for Sunday brunch over to the church house. I’m also gonna make a cabbage casserole and a gallon each of sweet and unsweet tea just cause I’m nice dammit!
Apes at least you know what it is. Let us know if and when we need to cross appropriate/inappropriate appendages, ok?

Thinkin’ sticky, placenta shifting thoughts!
Every time I go outside today, it starts raining… then suddenly stops and is glorious sun. I had* to walk into town earlier, and it’s impossible to dress properly. Plus I have a blister on my heel due to wearing sandals that got soaked with salt water last week, so all the fabric’s gone stiff. I got off lightly though, my housemate wound up losing a shoe in the mud, washed it off in the sea, and now it looks like one of these but without the colour 
*‘had’ meaning I wanted to go pick up a horrible ‘newspaper’ 'cos it has lego as a free gift. I feel a little dirty buying the Sun, but… tomorrow they have Lego Uruk-Hai! You can only get one per shop, so I’m recruiting friends, and going round everywhere in the city that will have them. Yes, I know I’m clearly a child.
MOOOOOOM the recipe I used is the one in the Mumper Recipe Blog. If’n you want, you can leave off the pee-kahns. Matter of fact I did just that.
Speakin’ of which, dindin and the apple crisp were tres nummy.

We’re back from burgers at Bert’s - now it’s time for knitting. MWAH!!
Tonight dinner shall be Famous Daves, due to MrTao’s having a co-worker gettin-married dinner there. I’m not a fan of the place, but their wild rice soup is good! I just remember being SO disappointed when I got to Virginia, roommates dragged me there, and it was just…awful. Expensive, dry as hell, and really not what I consider BBQ. Just…blech. I thought the brisket was SO bad that for a long time I refused to ever try brisket anywhere again; I thought I hated brisket! As it turns out, I just hate really dry, flavourless brisket.
After dinner, hopefully we’ll see Man With the Iron Fists, yay! Been a while since we’ve gone out, movies will be fun 
Tuesday was my Friday.
Wednesday, I got up and packed up all my stuff and did all my laundry and loaded it all into my car. Handed my landlord a rent check for October which i told him would be almost certain not to bounce once I got paid on Friday; he seemed okay with that. Headed on out and spent two days depending on the kindness of friends for a place to stay.
Today, I got paid again (yay!) and apparently for all the back pay they hadn’t yet paid me for October, so I quick jumped into Craigslist and found another room to rent for a reasonable amount, got the room and moved my stuff into it, the headed on to irk (I irk 1 pm to 9:30 pm).
So, tonight I get to set up my computer and see if the purported internet access is actual internet access.
Ethilrist, moving around like that sucks, and you have my sympathies. I’ll be doing something similar in a few weeks; hope your internet holds out Hell, hope mine does too, lol.
