The Early Worm Gets the Bird -- an East of Greenwich MMP

little peanut pic

Tell her to quit kickin’ so much, lol! How far along are you, Apes?

Tonight’s dinner was not bad, though I didn’t eat it, lol. Had a bloody mary and a bunch of appetizers and the sausage I got is in the fridge for tomorrow.

You realize, Apie, that she shall now be called Peanut here in the MMP forever. Just ask Lissla Lissar about that.

Ummm, Mommm, was your old recipe from Better Homes and Gardens? If, so, it’s also in the blog. (I searched for apple and found both swampy’s and yours among a surprising nimber of other apple recipes.

Hugs for olives and apes and Sticky

Why am I still awake?

More hugs.

GT

Up, caffeinated, off to irk.

Stay sticky, Peanut!

Enjoy your Saturday!

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN ‘Tis a foggy 50 degrees Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 85! Today’s plans include possibly reorganizin’ stuff in the pool storage buildin’ as it’s kind of a mess right now.

Apes keep tellin’ Peanut to hang in there!

Ok that’s all I got. I need to figure out some kinda brekkie as rumbly tummy is gettin’ very impatient to be fed. Then, well, who knows!

Happy Sattidy Y’all!

Morning, Mumpers! I am just stopping by to say that I had a fantastic time watching Abba last night!

Wow BooFae, ABBA sure sounds different than they used to sound.

I et cereal, milk, toast and oj for brekkie. Did not want to actually cook. OYKW is still snoozin’ away so he can forage when he arises. Ain’t I sweet!

I gave Hockey Lady:) a morning poke(on Facebook, you perverts! :stuck_out_tongue: )

It might have been, but I couldn’t find it - maybe it’s just too early. The thing is, I looked in my BH&G cookbook for it the other day - maybe I just read over it. Incidentally, is there a search function in the blog that I missed? I was just scrolling thru the pages.

Good morning and Happy Saturday! I’ve got the second load of laundry in the washer and the first load is on the lines. Dishes have been dishwashered. And once the second (and last) load goes out on the lines, I’ll be hitting my studio to finish glazing. Then I’ll load the kiln and fire tonight.

I’ve also got to make more texting mitts for the store. If I’m not interrupted, I can make 1 or 2 pairs a night. I’d like to take at least a dozen over there next week. In fact, I may go over today to see how many and what types are left so I can get a feel for which types I should be making to replace them.

It’s grey and overcast right now, but we’re supposed to have a sunny day. Daughter is coming over this afternoon with PsychoPug, then she and I are taking **FCD **out for his b-day. We have a coupon for a free appetizer at Texas Roadhouse - woohoo!

Thus beginneth my day! Don’t forget to turn your clocks back tonight if they still adhere to that silly practice where you live!

Happy Saturday!!

We’re gonna go pick up some wood pellets - yay!!!

I like Peanut
I am about 10 weeks along.

Me and my LL are hanging out today while my LM and** Hubs** are helping out at an Eagle project making park benches. I love mother/daughter days!

I had big HUGE plans for today to get tons of stuff done including Christmas shopping. But that ain’t happening as so far I have made it in the shower and to Starbucks. Oh well there is always next weekend and Amazon

I will go to Tar-Jay this afternoon and get kitty food etc as apparently LibbyCat requires feeding on regular basis.

In other news there is a possibility that we may be moving for work again. With some re-org changes going on my role is being downgraded and they know I need a new challenge so right now it looks like either Midland/Odessa area or San Antonio. Fingers crossed for SanAntonio :stuck_out_tongue:

: thinking sticky thoughts for peanut :

Back and beat, having just unloaded a ton (literally) of hardwood pellets for the stove that will be installed on Tues. A ton of pellets is a big-ass pile in the corner of the garage. Wonder how long it will last?? I guess that depends on how often we burn and how hot we keep it…

mmmmmm, what does your spousal unit do - I’m assuming your moves are equally doable for his work also? Or is he your kept love slave?? Not judging, just nosy…

Daughter will be here in about an hour. I’m going to head to my studio and try to get some glazing done, since I just lost a big chunk of my day with the trek to Upper Marlboro and back. At least I got the laundry done.

I have been a productive bear. Really. Cleaned out the pool storage building and took a load of stuff to the dump. Got propane tanks filled for the grill. Even picked up pizza for N.O.L.. ‘Tis mid 70 s out and loverly. So loverly I have windows open even. Now I am all showered and clean. I feel a nappy poo comin’ on. YAY!

I have a question for all you well-travelled Mumpers…holiday plans for next year have thrown out three destinations but no particular place stands out. Give then choice of Vancouver, Barbados or Cancun, which one would you pick? Things I’m considering are the best time of year to visit, the amount of stuff to see and do (bearing in mind that I may be largely reliant on public transport) and how much a place makes you feel like you should have visited many years ago. What think you?

I’d pick Vancouver, what time of year are you thinking?

BooFae just do all three.

rosie, I’m told Vancouver is best in July-August as far as the weather’s concerned.

At the moment it would probably be Cancun in February/March, perhaps Barbados September/October unless that’s really the end of the season there, and much as I’d love to take swampy’s advice and do all three, my bank account would be extremely unhappy about that!
