BBBobbio, are they going to give you a house-hunting trip? If they expect you to stay in a hotel when you first get here, avoid the A&E Motel on Great Mills road - it’s known for its hookers and coke. I learned that when I had grand jury duty. 
Oh, and to register a vehicle in MD, it has to be inspected, and it’s a pretty comprehensive inspection - takes a a couple of hours. The info is here. I can introduce you to our car guys if you’d like - they are certified to do the inspections and repairs - we’ve been happy with them.
PB sammich and tea - rather soothing if not gourmet. I may crawl back into bed, too. We shall see. One thing for sure, I’m not making a trash/recycle run as I’d planned.

Yawn. Terrible night (baby is teething and extremely restless) and Nat got up early. Need caffeine.
Blurf. I am home from the trip to Scotland, lots of driving in a short space of time, and my head is all woolly from lack of sleep. I sleep very badly at the best of times, it’s even worse when I’m away from home.
Going to have a soaky bath and vegetate on the sofa for a while instead.

Well, that sucks. **FCD **has to go to Pennsylvania for work. He just left - almost 5 hours on the road while he’s sick because, apparently, the person who was supposed to take off the top of a box and put 2 components inside decided instead to disassemble the box and he doesn’t know how to put it back together. So my poor sick sweetie has to drive up there, reassemble the box, install the components, and test them so the assembly can be delivered to the customer by Jan 6.
I’d have gone with him, but there’s no sense in 2 sickies infecting Pennsylvania. So I’ll suffer at home and he’ll suffer on the road. Poor baby…

I’m eating leftovers for lunch now. It is good as leftovers! Last night we used part of it to make fajitas, too, and they were excellent as well. So a really versatile recipe!

I just have to make it another 3 1/2 hours, then it’s a long weekend! KT was thinking about going to see his parents, but it’s raining all day today and then the rain is going to freeze and then we’ll have snow all day tomorrow. Not flying weather. So I don’t know if he’s going to drive down or just go another weekend. I’m getting together with one friend on Saturday to go to the Como Conservatory, which is a lovely indoor garden, which is just the place to go in the middle of the winter. Then Sunday I have to prepare communion at church and then a couple knitting friends are coming over for a knit fest. Should be fun. No real NYE plans.
I’m off to get tea now. And then try to focus on work for a couple hours. I have work to get done, but the focus is totally gone.
Friends coming over for dinner. We’re having slow roast pork loin, mashed sweet/regular N.O.Ts with garlic, mushroom sort of borguignon (I just spelled that wrong), and maybe sauteed broccoli if I feel like it. DO I really want to make dessert, too?
Mr. Lissar got us the conclusion of the Shadow series for our anniversary- Shadowheart. It’s really damn creepy. I’m reading it in ten-page goes.
We’re having QD and AT over for New Year’s until we feel like going to bed, then they’re off skating downtown. We aren’t going to the friend’s birthday party- we took a look at the venue and it was expensive and had white tablecloths. Not taking my kids there.

Second to the last day of doing nothing-ness. To be fair to me, I have been keeping up on house cleaning stuff, laundry and junk like that.
A couple friends coming by later to have some celebratory drinks for one of them whose last day with us is Monday.
After that, I got nothing.

It is a most awesome night. I’m sitting outside with four dogs, listening to occasional firecrackers go off, with CCR on the surround sound - Jim Beam in hand.
It is soooo nice out here! About 70°, with a nice breeze. I’m wearing shorts. Sometimes (ok most times) I love Texas.
I think I need a snack of some sort…

I need to get in gear and purtify I reckon so’s I can get irk stuff out of the way, so I shall. Alas!

Good morning all, and Happy New Year’s Eve! I’m up and caffeination is in process. I’ve had a cranberry-orange yogurt (yum!), so I should be good to go soon. 
Rebo, I saw your videos on FB - what a beautiful doggy! S/He seemed quite hungry though, and boy your black doggy stayed very close by - guess he wanted to make sure his territory was safe! I hope the owners get in touch with you and are good people and come and get the dog. BTW, has Dipsey been a good boy since the table incident?! LOL
Going to have pork tenderloin for supper tonight; it will go into the slow cooker shortly. I’m fixing it with apples, potatoes, onions and (maybe) cabbage. I also got the fixins’ for mimosas and for either pina coladas or strawberry daquiris. Don’t worry, I’m not planning on mixing them! I’ll have the champagne tonight and the fruity drinks on Saturday. I got a new blender and that’s what made me get the rum and stuff. I’d really better watch it though - I only drink once or twice a year!

I could get used to this sleepin’ in thing! I did wake up early, but I got back in bed and dozed on and off with the TV on. I’ve had some cheese toast for breakfast and the dishwasher is running. I’m feeling a bit better, but we shall see how the day goes.

And speaking of weird dreams, last night, I gave birth to quadruplets - for LiLi!! But by the time she came to meet them, I only had 2 left - no idea what happened to the other 2. Anyway, I hope you enjoy your new daughter and son.

**FCD **called last night - he’d reassembled the box and installed the cameras or whatever sensors went in it and he figures he’ll be coming home today. I haven’t heard from him yet, so I’m assuming he’s OK. He shouldn’t have to travel like this when he’s sick…

New Year’s Eve. Dinner and dancing tonight. Need to go into the office today to shake the money tree (month end billings), but otherwise taking the day off.
I was a bit sad yesterday to read of the last processing of Kodachrome. They took my Kodachrome away.
My sweetie just called - he’s on his way home. With luck, he’ll be here in less than 5 hours. I need to have the bed ready for him - he sounded awful… poor baby. 
I have irked. Need to irk some more but don juan do it! WAH!!!
Also, I want chili/cheese/onion/slaw dawgs from the greasy hotdawg place. A dangerous jonesin’ cause they be leathal. However, OH. SO. GOOOOOOOOOD!!!
