I for one am interested in knowing if rostfrei gets the job. And, if he does, how it will go in the future.
And yes, this issue does arise for women sometimes.
And TriPolar, your apology was very pleasant to read. Thanks for being so fair-minded.
Alternately married guy could think rostfrei might blackmail him if he doesn’t give him the job.
I’m not sure why people are making a point to bring up that this happens to women, too. It happens to both genders.
It doesn’t have to be sex.* Some years ago I was walking from the bus stop to my office. A car turning right first nearly hit me, then splashed me with slush and then, when I jumped back onto the curb in shock at her bad driving, she flipped me off!
As I passed our office’s visitor’s parking I saw her car. Seriously thought about leaving some kind of message, but didn’t. Went inside.
About a half hour later she came out of my boss’s boss’s office, where she’d been interviewing for an opening. She saw me and her jaw dropped open.
She did not get the job.
*But that is a lot more interesting.
Once I answered a domestic call with my partner… only to recognize the wife as being a woman i picked up at a reggae bar on the north side of the city… THAT was a showstopper… I simply backed him up and called for another unit… and then stepped outside…
My Sgt thought that was a wise way to play it as well… These things happen… Sorry bout the job dude…
As a straight man, I’d never NOT hire a woman due to her tendency to blow people she just met.![]()
You totally need to send this in to “Reader’s Digest.” I think they pay fifty bucks for these kind of things.
Too bad you weren’t the one doing the interview. ![]()
If it’s any consolation, the OP is probably better off not working under the same roof as that guy. Sounds like a real user. And not to be snarky, but the OP might want to strengthen his survival skills: nobody except lonely old people talk to anyone else for 90 minutes unless it’s for sex or financial gain. He saw you gathering the courage to approach you and started taking first, and knew you were gay long before you “confided” it.
For all you know, he was the only one on the panel who wanted to hire you: since you had already passed the “please me with no strings attached” test. He might have later used manipulation and deceit to turn your life upside down in workplace. That might have been the luckiest blowjob you’ll ever give.
