His contributions to the board to disspell ignorance, his quick wit, and his patience have earned Esprix an appreciation thread, in my massively unhumble opinion.
He has managed through time to maintain a thread which disspells ignorance about gay people and often is successful in creating understanding.
More than that, he also adds to the board in his flurry of posts on a plethora of topics and is able to maintain good humor and temper in a way that I hope some day to achieve.
So, feel free to join in with how and why we appreciate this wicked stud muffin of the SDMB.
I think Esprix is a class guy. Stand-up, standout poster. Very intelligent and always has something interesting to say. “One trick pony” notwithstanding, he’s the originator and driving force between the one of the most prolific sets of threads: “Ask the Gay Guy”.
I’m not just saying this because he said he heard that I’m attractive and he was planning to go to an LA dopefest that I was thinking of attending.
(For one thing, he heard wrong. For another, since I’m an incredibly insecure heterosexual, his presence actually scared me off.)

Seriously, the man is a distinctive, valued, and popular poster here. I wish him nothing but the best and salute him!
[sub]Though he’ll never make my sig. No offense.[/sub]
Hastur, matt, beth, Merc, Captain, Arden, MGibson, DRY, Morrison, vanilla, Jonathan - thank you very, very much for the kind words. They are much appreciated, particularly right now - trust me.
I hope I can continue to live up to such thoughtful sentiments.
Evidently, I agree that Esprix rocks. I always look forward to his posts. He’s gives intelligent and often hilarious answers and only loses his temper when it’s been earned several times over. Hats off to you, good sir!
Esprix and I haven’t had too much interaction on the boards, but I do enjoy reading his posts. I’m sorry I don’t really have anything new or insightful to add, but this is a well-deserved thread. Nice call, Hastur.
Beadalin, Euty, Zette, Crunchy, Ginger, really, thank you very much. Your words make me proud.
Frankly, a few things have happened lately, both IRL and online, that have made me consider how much time I spend here at the SDMB and if I shouldn’t take a long, long break from things, so your kindness really comes at the most opportune time. Again, thank you - it is most appreciated.
